So far, the best deals in the San Antonio area have been Federal 325 round packs sold at certain Walmarts, with an after-tax per round cost of approximately 7¢.

About the same here in Montana and the prices are still way too high for .22 rimfire in my opinion.

Still have Federal Auto Match 325 boxes for $21 and change. The retro Winchester 300 boxes for $41+. The new addition in winchester 200 boxes for $18+ ( which I find odd since two of those is 100 more for less than the 300 count $41+ boxes) Seeing CCI Standard and a few others that I didn't commit to memory

East Tennessee I've noticed the ubiquitous Federal auto match 325 count for 20ish bucks depending on the seller . Noticed lot of places have CCI Stingers , but it's hard to find my favorite Mini-Mags . Seeing lots of Anguilla .

Northern Wyoming. Norma Tac22, Winchester X, CCI Stingers, Remington Thunderbolt. Prices are still high though. I tend to buy a box of 50 or a hundred with every trip to town to off set my useage so my stash stays untouched. The Remington Thunderbolts are my favorite. Despite what I read of others experiences with it; i have had good luck. Norma Tac22 is least favorite. Thin brass, inconsistent power, cases bulge and stick in some semiautos.

In Central upper Michigan , in my area we are getting alot of 375/400 rd boxes. We are also getting some Remington bucket o bullets too from time to time. Prices are still a bit high. But 17 hmr bullets are back to normal prices. Greetings from da UP.

22LR is relatively abundant here in central ALABAMA, 22 magnum is much more scarce. I am able to find bulk packs in most stores in my area of 22 LR with great frequency. The prices are stupid on most of it, but it is still cheaper than most of the other rounds i shoot & stock.
@gary82652 жыл бұрын
Mostly seeing 10 to 15 cents per round. I have been picking up Federal Automatch 325 rd box for just over 6 cents per round. Haven't seen a 500 round brick in awhile.

There's almost literally a " Tactical " offering in ammo for every caliber, it's a clever marketing fad and they know people will pay just cause it says it on the box.

for sure.

Funny how the "Tactical" offerings show the same bullet weight, speed and style (hollow point of course save that punch stuff) but say Tactical for an extra cost at a smaller box.

In Central Oregon, it is relatively uncommon. Lots of the popular centerfire calibers like 9mm and 223 have been available in at least one option on most shelves most of the time since ammo has been showing up again. But .22lr has been less than half as frequent. It pops up in smaller boxes and is bought up quickly regardless of price. Various 50 round boxes of Aguila seem most frequent, 10 to 20¢/rd. Some few rare times in the last 2 years, it's a Bucket o' bullets or a Federal range pack. About 7¢/rd then. The 300 packs of Mini mags almost as rare, and hold at about 10¢.

There's almost always a "bucket" or two on the bottom shelf... but otherwise, just small boxes of very expensive CCI or some brand I've never heard of. Seems like we are still about 3-4 months behind what you are seeing. Better than before..but, only slightly so for EVERYTHING except 223 and 9mm

You can get the Federal lead tips in packs of 325 for about $22 in the Pittsburgh area. CCI copper tip round nose or hp are $11 for 100. Those are the only decent deals I've found. Dunham's had Aguila copper tips on sale a few months ago. 250 rounds for $18, but they haven't had that sale since.

same here...prices are stubborn. During the last ammo crunch 2010-2013 it was very similar though maybe this one seems shorter. Common rounds came back first, prices high and then secondary rounds/hunting rounds and eventually some of the small lot runs. 22 was one of the last things to return and to it's market price of that time. I'm reloading now as a result and I had no idea that primers would become as rare as hen's teeth.

Blazer is going for 39.99/550 rounds and the CCI Standard Velocity is going for 39.99/500 round brick. The Std Vel is a little more but it is my go to ammo. They also have tons of Aguila and Norma.
