To find this gem 💎 of apartment at that price did you have to change the Airbnb app to Spanish or look from Colombia? When we look from the US the prices are all inflated and in dollars 💰

I booked it 6 months before I went while I was in Canada - airbnb just converts the price, haven't seen a difference. This same apartment has gone up in price though on Airbnb the last time I checked so I think prices are just higher now

I'm Canadian but I travel to a new spot every few months. I spent 6 months in Medellin and now I'm in Mexico City. I don't spend any time in Canada aside from holidays sometimes depending on what my family is doing for Christmas/new year :)

I'm glad to hear that!! Definitely visit comuna 13 (take a free guided tour). If you want all the ambiance, go on a friday/weekend but if you don't like crowds, go on a weekday. Paragliding is fun as well over Medellin. Guatape is a few hours out but beautiful if you're there for a week, i'd make it a day trip. Check out Provenza for some nightlife or even if you just want to go for dinner and people watch if you're not a big party guy. There's a ton tbh but it depends on how long you're there! Hope you have an amazing time :)

@@tomkempf8460 The rock climbing in Guatape isn't for beginners so I didn't give it a go - just walked up the regular steps but it's a beautiful view! For the paragliding I went with San Felix Parapente - they were great!!

@@gidduup424 $4-5 depending on what part of el Poblado (el Poblado is quite large). I wouldn't live in Calasanz if you want to be close to el Poblado. I prefer Laureles which was $3ish and 10 minutes away. If you want to be close to el Poblado but not in el Poblado, stay in Envigado.

You have a cold and keep sniffing you need more vegetables in your diet make a salad with collyflower broccoli mushrooms cucumber red cabbage and fresh peppers chopped up add olive oil mixed herbs or parsley and a splash of vinegar mix in a bowl and have this twice daily and introduce porrage or musely into your diet and I promise you thst you won't catch a cold again

Medellin is beautiful in so many ways - I'm in love with it. I can see a couple of the metrocables running from the balcony - Will include the ride in a future video :) I'm headed to Thailand in 2024 - will check out your videos to see what's good :))
