It’s also a way of escape. Sometimes life can be difficult and times can be trying & unpredictable. It’s nice to sit back and enjoy a fairy tale where everything goes as planned, for once. Clearly, I’m not the only one who thinks this way, because in 2012, the movie theater box offices made over $10 billion in ticket sales! That’s a lot of money for a leisure activity that adds nothing to you, except for a fictitious story. Think about it! We sit in theaters and we watch movies for about two hours at a time.
