as a pinoy living for 30yrs in the US and soon to retire back in the philippines in a year or two, i'll say to these vloggers to go ahead and promote thailand more, have expats move there instead, so we can have the beauty of my country all to ourselves and not get exploited lol.

@@victoriafediuk954 I of course love the flavors of Thailand, but there are dishes that are specific the Philippines, that I also love. I enjoy cooking, and would be creating dishes from all over the world.

Lived in Thailand for 7 years. And, yes, Thai food is Top Notch compared to the Philippines - no disagreement there. Infrastructure is much better in Thailand than the Philippines, too. - a Filipino

I love my country and the people. But seeing and experiencing the food in Thailand is different. I'm sorry my Philippines, but the food in Thailand is so much better. Our food is mostly sweet . some are not like sinigang, Bulalo, lechon , sisig are always my favorite but the rest it's the Thai food. Please, my Kabayan no more sweet food it's not good. some foreigners doesn't like it. Thank you . Sir. Mabuhay!!!

Pinagsasabi mo. Depende sa taong nagpeprepare ng food. May rason bakit marami tayong sweet food. Una sa lahat we produce sugar

@@bluewolf4789 If we use that logic, Thailand food should be sweeter than Filipino food since Thailand sits at Top 10 largest sugar producers in the world. But Thai food isn't sweeter than Filipino food. Compare the dishes between Thailand and Philippines, you will find that Filipino cuisine is more fatty, oily, sugary, salty, using less fruit and vegetables. This is also always the complaint by foreign tourists if you see travel vlogs, especially vegan/vegetarians. Philippine's has both obesity problem due to obsession of fast food to those who can afford it, and malnutrition problem among those who can't afford, due to either no food to eat or there is food to eat but being lower quality when it comes to nutrition. Malnutrition isn't only lack of food but also lack of high quality ingredients packed with a variety of nutrients such as vitamins and minerals and not just sugar, carbs, and fat. Example, only eating white rice and fried meat is less nutritious compared to someone eating kamote and leafy greens for breakfast. Also compare some known brands like Milo and their nutritional facts in different countries, you will find that a lot of the Filipino counterparts (not all) have higher sugar content per serving.
