I love that I’ve essentially grown up with Lucas lmao. I was a Fred stan as a kid when he was making those videos and loved him on Nickelodeon and now here. He’s only about 6 years older than me. Did you know after it originally aired they removed that scene from the reruns? A lot of stuff they said & did would never fly on tv now it was so iconic in its day. (I saw nothing racist about her comments) and mtv edited her out of the rest of the season and kicked her off forever!!!!! And then also called her a racist (putting a note at the beginning of each remaining episode that she was a racist and being edited out as much as possible)!!! Like literally WTF!! (That was last season, but apparently it’s ok to say racist 💩 if you’re black bc this season they aired a black cast member saying she wanted a black woman to win and was glad the final girls are all black or brown !!! Imagine a white person saying that (just insert white in)!!!!

I live in NJ. The real Jersey shore is nothing like this. Half of the cast wasn't even from New Jersey. I don't want to disappoint anyone, but this show wasn't an accurate depiction of the Jersey shore at all. But we do have a large Italian population and they are PROUD of their heritage. LOL They will remind you every five seconds that they're Italian, even if they've never been to Italy. So her screaming, "You don't even look Italian" is spot on. That's something someone from NJ would actually say. 🤣

They’ve become more strict (one show on mtv - the challenge- where they used to let fights play out- then send the aggressor of the fight to a hotel for the night and then the other members would take a vote whether they could stay/whether the victim felt safe, now they intervene with security and if they still manage to fight, they go home 🙄 this causes a lot of cast members to act tough and push buttons bc they know security will intervene or if the angry person gets by security and fights them, they get kicked off 🙄
