Gents we are not bored of winning. I think the team and fans were in a mild state of shock, followed by complete gratitude and peace. When you have done what you have to do to win, you just want to appreciate the moment. It’s actually hard to process what has been achieved and you get stunned into silence. It’s not boredom, it’s complete peace!!

Have to push back a little bit on that EVERY year with Clearys injuries Luai has “carried” the side. Until this year, either Sullivan or Cogger came in and became the dominant half, with Yeo and Edwards increasing their workload and Luai playing generally the same second playmaker role as always. It’s only been this year with the least experience backups in Cole or Schneider that Luai was the main playmaker, but even then for a large part of it it was still Yeo controlling where the team was getting around the field except for the kicking. Not to discredit what Luai has done but I don’t think it’s fair or accurate to say it’s only Luai that’s carried the team in Clearys absences.

Question about the world club challenge. Doesnt it excite you to see all the great talent in super league which would be great evidence to show as to why we could have more teams in the nrl as most players over there would jump at the opportunity to play on the bigger stage. Some great talent in the super league

I love Joey but I think he was used as a immortal as they never had a Wally in NSW..John's was forced to hooker in most of his games in SOO and tests and yes it was 1 game he was a 10 out of 10 in 2005.Actually Alan Langer was 10 times more successful in SOO .another note I'm pretty sure Brett Kimmorley pulled a 10 out 10 in Rugby league week magazine once maybe twice playing against Joey in club land

Joey's defence is why he's the best, add to that he reinvented the kicking game and you can't compare. His time at hooker was when he was young and starting his career, the fact that they trusted him to be a hooker in state of origin which especially at hooker where U cannot hide in defence actually strengthens Joey's greatness. If Joey was fit in his prime he was first picked in any team

Thats the thing with the world cup challenge Penrith keep on losing players so this next one Luai, Fish, Turuva and up and coming Isaiah Iongi they cant play next year.Last year Critta , Lenui, Cogger, Jenkins and Salmon were not there plus as you realise they are all stuffed from Rep football.
