Ever since I started playing Genshin, I fell in love with the visuals, the music, and the characters. My favorite area is probably Dragonspine and my favorite music in the game so far has been Fischl's domain music from the Golden Apple Archepelago event in 2.8. My first main was Fischl and she is still my favorite Genshin character lore-wise. My favorite character to use in battle is Yae Miko because she was my first limited 5 star and she is amazing in Overcharge teams and with reaction teams. I can't help but play Genshin everyday because I genuinely enjoy it and I love how immersive the game is.

Fischl had my favorite character trailer before the game launched, she spends the whoel thing dramatcially narrating her own introduction only for her mom to be like "its time to go home Amy!" then she breaks character and the trailer ends, my fave Zhongli, like as straight guy he hot, also I like how he wears makeup despite being super masculine and cool.

I love the character designs in this game so much and the character interactions touch my heart. My favorite song is Fragile Fantasy and other Dragonspine music for how pretty and delicate they sound. Playing Genshin is fine as long as you avoid Twitter and TikTok….the fandom there is embarrassing, they harrass the VAs for no reason (Dori’s VA is a good example), and cosplayers, especially if it’s a beginner or hobby cosplayer. It took my bestie 9 months to get me play genshin. It worked. I have been playing this game for a year, and Aether, Diluc and Kazuha made me in the end succumb to the world of Teyvat. omggg this is beyond too relatable!! My bf & friends have been telling me to play genshin since it came out but I just didnt get the hype. I was good w/ just hanging out and watching them play, but I finally gave in at the beginning of Aug 2022 & started playing. I will admit now I get what they were all trying to get me on. God I can relate to this video so much. The brutal early AR gameplay made me feel so nostalgic of my early AR days where I oonga boonga my way through the game with crappy four star characters (back then character build guides aren't a thing, even if there is it's super bad). I was roped into genshin because of my friend flexing her Diluc on me. I convinced myself that I would just try this game out because I don't want to get cheated by another expensive gacha game(oh how naive I was.) And here I am, AR59, a huge hoarder of primogems (about 40k), resin capped at 730 and wasting my days simping over all the husbandos I collected. Life is great lmao

I still feel amazed and get blown away by how beautiful it is despite playing almost every day for two years now. I lost the magic during the slow first few months of Genshin and also had my first huge burnout after I finished the Chasm(I managed to stave off the burnout by playing a few other games alongside Genshin). It felt dull and mind numbing to just do commissions and empty my resin everyday since I already have well-built characters(like seriously, I leveled up almost all of my characters to 80-90). But every time they release a gorgeous location + well-written quest, I just can't help but feel the magic all over again. I don't get hyped with the patches anymore or look super forward to new characters the same way I did with Xiao, but overall, I still enjoy the game and I love that the game keeps improving. Recently, the Aranaka quest blew me away. Not yet finished with the quest but goddamn the introduction, the adorable veggie fairies, and the stunning location just made me squeal. Brought back childhood fantasies and it actually surpassed the amazement I felt when I first started the game. I can't help but keep looking forward to seeing the whole of Teyvat~

I relate to you a lot. I love this game dearly and still actively engange with the community, but I've recently become reallly burnt out, feeling like I'm behind in the game compared to a lot of people around me. Whenever I start to play the game now I just feel really overwhelmed. But I know that the game is beautiful, the world is beautiful, the characters are beautiful, and there are so many awesome people and genshin content in the community. I'm glad you've been having fun recently. And I'm sure when I come back to the game sometime, I'll start to feel the magic again. Hopefully anyway

Not entirely sure but I sang it in choir and I will never be able to unhear it whenever there's the dawn winery music.
