Yes all 9 members are successful and happy but we have to acknowledge all of Jessica's hard work after all her journey was the hardest, she had to start over, banned from the TV shows unable to promote herself as a singer but was still able to be successful after Taeyeon she is the most successful in the music career although now she seems to have stopped focusing on the music career and about her clothing brand is doing very well she is rich I think she is one of the richest among at 9

I think it's unfair of us as fans expecting them to get back together. They gave us a decade of their lives, they danced, they sang, and they gave us some great music and some great memories. We should be grateful for what they gave us and let them move on with their own stuff now. Everything has to end sometime, and nothing can last forever. They are trying to see how they can fair as individuals; acting, solo, entertainment, etc. Some will make it and some won't but as a group, it's over. There's only 5 of them left with SM anyways and SM isn't one to work with other companies.

​@@fernarias I don't know if you're one to judge a comeback's success based on the number of views, but if you are, then that's a really inaccurate measurement method. SM spent no less than $100,000 on the entire video (the costumes were pretty cheap except for a few jewelry pieces, they only had 2 sets and SM is known for the "boxed set" design, which leaves everything else to the technical side). Oh! GG's album was the 13th largest selling girl group album that year, with over 43,000 physical sales. That's already impressive because they didn't promote which means that saves the company money from having to pay to get them on these shows. Based on just the physical sales, they would've already made back all the money, and then some. Not to mention there's still digital sales and downloads. If making more than what you spend is considered successful, then Oh! GG was definitely successful. Yes, they are for the most part, focusing on their individual careers rn. Most groups who take a break or hiatus do that. And they are very successful in their solo activities as well. But just because they're doing well on their own, doesn't mean that the group is in any danger of meeting it's end. No matter what company they're a part of, or no matter the circumstances, they're always going to be SNSD. Their legacy will always carry on to future generations. Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung all left SM on good terms. Lee Soo Man and the girls seem to interact with each other with no problem. SM also stated on their official statement that the girls leaving the entertainment company has nothing to do with their future as Girl's Generation. In the future, there will be a chance for a reunion with all the members. And if we know anything from SM, is that no matter how long a group is inactive for, they never really disband. SES has be inactive for more than a decade but they still come together on shows and even had a comeback as a group even though they weren't of the same agency. The girls have been under SM for over a decade, which means at this point in their careers, they have a say in what entails in their contracts as well as other things. Also who knows, in the future the other 5 members might leave SM as well to settle down or focus on their other works, which would make a reunion all the more possible.

Actually the girls kicked her out. If it was SM the girls might now and then acknowledge her existence. But neither side will acknowledge the other. That’s how you know it was the girls who kicked her out of the group. Also SM didn’t kick her out of the company. She quit the company on her own. SD5 I don’t think that the other 8 girls had any rights to kick her out, because all of the girls are bound to SM by contracts and they have to follow SM‘s rules. Girls' Generation debuted in an era which was dominated by boy groups. A few years after SNSD debuted, they achieved success and that success paved the way for girl groups in kpop industry. A lot of girl groups debuted after SNSD. And that's the thing I'm most proud of them. They are the first kpop group that I've ever stanned.

Just watch their 1st tour vs last tour and they didn’t have the same enthusiasm. Because they're all nearly 30 now. They can't keep singing "Oh" and "Gee" for *another* 10 years. Haven't you noticed how Taeyeon's sound has shifted as a solo artist? Her songs are not Kpop at all. They are very much adult contemporary. Her last album, "Something New," is all urban soul. She's an adult now. They all are. Having them continue to sing "Love and Girls" or "Beep Beep" would be embarrassing. "Lil' Touch" is what we're going to see from any further SNSD releases.

Sunny seems quite happy doing radio and variety shows, etc. Taeyeon is the only one of them that still releases music with any regularity. Because she loves to sing so much. SNSD stopped being an active group after 2015's "Lion Heart." Did you ever think that maybe the promotion period for "Holiday Night" was so short because the members WANTED it that way? I ceratinly do. They had all been moving on into the next stages of their careers for quite some time already.

The nostalgia. "Gee" was the first song that got me into Kpop. I was playing World of Warcraft early 2009 at the time. One of my guildmates played the song over Ventrilo. It was hilarious and we kept singing the song to lighten up the raid that night. Most of us became Kpop fans that night. Haha good times.

Jessica didn’t leave SNSD in good terms. She even stated that she was kicked out by SM and the agreement of the rest of SNSD; in the same statement she said she was sad and shocked. No one is making assumptions, just read her official statement. Also, it’s quite obvious that she didn’t get on well with some members, just take a look on her last interactions and Krystal’s ones with the rest of SNSD. In most events she was seen with her true sister Krystal, while the others were always together. Have you seen some members reacting to Sica’s voice? They are done. Besides she even shared some fashion events with some members and didn’t even interact. OT9 is long dead by now. Sad but true.

I agree she didn't leave on good terms and i dont think it's all to do with SM because shes got her show with krystal who is still with SM though you can say that isn't much. I do believe that something happen between the girls specifically when she was trying to start her business and wasn't around for the girls when it came to them promoting as a group. Also have to say that till this day we see the 8 members together posting on social media and spending time with each other but not Jessica even though three more members left SM.

I think the only thing that’s happening to them now is that the status of the group is really up in the air. Anyone that came into kpop during 2007-2009 know what power SNSD has. They were the first girl group I stanned. And pioneered my love for kpop (along with F(SHINee) ) they hold a special place in my heart with Sica being my first kpop bias. They have one of the best Japanese Discorgraphy of any kpop girl group. Hands down SNSD is THAT group.

Tyler Kwon stated that he had no intentions to marry Jessica at that time and Jessica herself never had plans to leave Girls Generation at all. Hmm hello, First of all, Jessica’s marriage rumor was just nothing but a rumor. Secondly, Jessica did explain clearly her side of the story online, to her fans, on her Weibo account. In summary, SM and the rest of the girls did agree for her to work with her business, but as time went on, Jessica got left out of some of the group’s events. Later, the group members told her to choose between them or her personal career. As she had already signed the business contract, she could not leave her business, her whole-life dream. As her whole life has been about SNSD, she could not leave that, either. She told them that she could not choose. And somehow later, SM told her straight that she did not belong to SM anymore and that’s why she got so shocked, confused, and upset. My opinion: As someone whose bias has always been Jessica, I try to respect her choices. However, in this case, she DID NOT make a choice. She was confused and lost. She was FORCED to leave. She DID NOT choose her personal career over her fans, no. She DID NOT choose her personal way of making money over her friends, no. Holiday Night was so disappointing because the album was SO GOOD but it flew under the radar because the kpop industry is run by twelve year olds who couldn't relate to the beauty, grace and maturity of 2017 SNSD. It just bothers me that it seems like even if someone wanted to speak up about it they can't. There was an interview with Jessica where she said that she keeps in touch with some of the members. After Jessica's departure, a few of the members publicly gave strong hints about missing Jessica e.g. Sunny saying that a friend can always come home. And Hyo recently played a remix of The Boys whilst she was DJing and she very much highlighted Sica's part. I think it's a mix of all SM and GG that led to Sica leaving, but I refuse to believe that after a decade of being together, there's no way they don't care about each other at all.

What you called a "clothing line" in the video was just an accessories line at the moment 9/30 happened with just a couple of sunglasses. But saying "SM granted it thinking not much of it" is also not true, as there's proof of SM being ready to support Jessica's business: her line's sunglasses were spotted in a (chinese?) film produced my SM. Her business did not "suddenly became a big deal" as the line was launched in August and she departed the group in September. It played its role but wasn't the cause of the problem. Jessica also didn't have many activities in the second part of 2014, so saying she was focused on something else instead of the group is false, as the major group event coming up was the Tokyo Dome for which Catch Me If You Can was prepared and as we know now Jessica took part in recording, filming and promoting (hashtag CatchGG) the song. She even teased the song during one of the Jessica&Krystal episodes. Also, why mention marriage rumours when it's 2019 and Jessica still isn't married? Honestly, I just wish if people are still talking about the scandal or sharing it with other people they wouldn't just mindlessly repeat rumours. We don't know what happened behind closed doors and we never will.

Tiffany left the label but is still in the group and .stated she will return when needed., per radio interview in 2018. She also said they are working to get all their different schedules coordinated for a come back maybe 2019 or 2020
