Well, it's a system, a deep rooted culture in the SK entertaiment industry and from longest time since the 1st generation, shareholders, stakeholders and sponsors, in any kind of form mean a lot to the company. Any PR, good and bad will affect stocks, cooperation and sponsorship, then being silent is always better than doing any PR at all, cutting ties always the best move, for the companies when these kind of things have snowball effects they always prefer shareholders and stakeholders than the artist, while public opinion is important and can affect the outcome, it's too unpredictable. That's if the case is too vague, gray and not clear tho. When the issue is pretty much black and white, those companies can just clarify it fast.

She got into the group through nepotism. Then she thought she could invoke that privilege when she realized how much hard work the group would be. T-ARA's company worked the girls through injury and sickness, with many of the girls performing even while injured. So of course the members were pissed off that a member could feign an injury and go to the nail salon... To make matters worse, this caused the other members to spend a whole day in tour rehearsal rearranging the performances. The girls were the most exhausted they've ever been. Do I think it was right of them to all post about it on social media? Probably not. Do I still think the way they felt was valid? Absolutely. Hwayoung was faking and they all knew it.

Because she didn’t bully anybody. TARA bullied her, she responded childishly as most young people would, a staff member who probably has closer relationships with the original members decided to destroy her life instead of theirs. Tara members have been shown to be terrible people in their personal lives. It’s not shocking that they’d bully and hide their hands.

@@HS-ie8tj Since I don't know anyone in this situation, I can equally put the blame on either party for not simply talking co-operatively. The group and staff are in the wrong if they didn't treat her right sure, but she didn't go at it nicely and also relied too much on emotions of anger and grief or whatever it may have been. Having read the newest news, even the CEO is a fool for not speaking the truth earlier. I am not here to invalidate what anyone felt back in 2012, but we should have moved on and just lived life separated from each other which is the best ending. Trying to prove a point again is only going to bring the trauma back, not going to bring someone's reputation back magically.

i actually didn’t know who hwayoung was until i watched the kdrama she starred in, “Hello My Twenties”. she wasn’t my fav character but she was a pretty great actress and i wanted to get to know a bit more about all the actresses. i got to know that seungyeon, who played jung ye-eun in the drama, was actually a singer in the group KARA. then i finally got to know hwayoung, who played kang yi-na in the drama, was a member of the group T-ARA. i found it ironic that the group names were pretty similar & that 2 members of those groups were acting in the same drama together. then i seen a video abt hwayoung and her history/controversies in T-ara. it left me a bit disappointed and surprised, since she was such a good actress and i actually liked her in the drama but she could be such a person. she now plays a lot of golf from her insta feed that ive seen. hopefully she has grown and gotten better as a person.

Well, the T-ARA system was intended by the CEO to put pressure on the members by simply adding new members, as was also said in the video (this was also said back in 2012, then again in 2017). I can still remember the TAXI interview and just thought to myself “ok she's just having a good cry”, but then when the former staff member came forward it was mindblowing. A lot of what happened back then suddenly made sense. It may have been a mistake for Hyomin to express her anger on Twitter, precisely because it should be dealt with internally, but how can it be dealt with internally with this CEO (KKS)? I can only guess what the reason was for coming out with the story again after another 7 years. Maybe someone needs money and wants to sell headlines. CCM, and later MBK, has many artists on its conscience, not just T-ARA. Just think of Shannon or DIA and why Davichi changed labels back then (they were also in CCM/MBK), should be enough to be a sign that all this is solely due to KKS. He should have just stayed quiet and the same goes for Hwayoung, who still hasn't learned anything.

It’s extremely obvious to me that this young woman was bullied first by original members, responded childishly and self sabotaged herself (I cannot speak on if he leg injury was real or not, and any doctor who states otherwise has violated patient privacy and can’t be trusted), and years later was sacrificed by a former staff member who most likely had closer relationships with original members and took the opportunity to shift blame. I don’t think people appreciate how difficult it must have been to join such a group and receive abuse of any kind. The videos of TARA being cruel to her don’t become in valid just because one staff member said it wasn’t so. The abuse towards her was clear. People telling her to die and to disappear are pure evil. You condemn her for her behaviour over a decade ago but continue to abuse and bully her for it? Huh? I’ll never understand. TARA members have shown themselves to be abusive and vile in their personal lives. It’s not shocking to extend that to their behaviour back th en. They are who they are. Let’s do our best to be impartial and understand that we were not there and do not know these women. It’s all guess work and lives have been destroyed because of nonsense videos like this.
