It's not a mistake. They didn't choose to disband, you egg. The members were from different companies and the contract with Produce 101 was for a year. It's not like they made a conscious decision to disband on their own. Did you even watch the video?

Really appreciate the cover over IOI who was and still is my favourite group of all time. However it was unfortunate that some details were glossed over or misrepresented in this video. The biggest one for me would be how IOI is still a creation from the Korean and International public’s votes as the investigations has found that while manipulation was present, it only affected the elimination and not the final group. It’s also sad that things like Pledis’s mistreatment/ forced hiatus on PRISTIN wasn’t mentioned or how Somi went missing for almost 2 years instead of just moving companies other. The IOI contract was also slated for 2 full groups and 2 units which was why the 4 members returned to their companies (which Yeonjung wasn’t mentioned for an odd reason). But thank you for mentioning Jellyfish’s lack of support for gugudan’s career. Despite that I really appreciate the wrap up especially the segment about Downpour being the perfect ending and I really hope we still get to see IOI again. In the meantime I hope more people support the individual careers of all the members (including their acting careers).

I've been following Gugudan intensely since I started getting into KPOP early last year. I havent listened to that many groups yet but Gugudan's musicality and incredible vocals kept me hooked. I understand how disasterous their debut was but damn are their later albums super underrated imo. A few days ago their YT Channel finally updated after 10 months of nothing and leaving 2019 with no release others than Sejoeng's angelic return with her solo "Tunnel". Here's to hoping Gugudan 2020 comeback.

Thank you for the vid, IOI will always be in the top gg ever! Yeonjung and Doyeon are my biases in IOI and I have followed them since produce. Some clarifications though, you forgot to mention Yeonjung joined WJSN as Main Vocalist during Whatta Man era, also forgot to mention Chaeyeon is still in DIA during the after IOI career. Many IOI members were invited to king of masked singer, DIA and WJSN have music show wins, Yeonjung won V1 competition, Sejeong and Mina are acting a lot and they were in a Gugudan unit called Semina with gugudan's Nayoung (Mina also had another unit before), Doyeon and Yoojung made a unit with WJSN Seola and Luda, Somi debuted in many project groups (like Unnies and Girls next door) before debuting. The first season's line up was not rigged, they made some trainees enter the last 22 instead of others (which is not good at all but is not the same situation as the other produce series). On the other hand, IOI made a promise before disbanding of making a comeback in 5 years time, I believe they will keep that promise as they keep reminding us of it.

All of these groups were active/still popular when I first got into Kpop!Mblaq was one of the first groups I stanned. I'm so sad they're gone and that I never got to experience a comeback with SS501

Hello! Usually I agree and enjoy most of the things you say in this kind of videos, but, maybe because I have more knowledge in this group(s) than the other ones you talk about overall, there are a few things that frustrate me or that I simply don't agree with. Some are just small """mistakes""" I'm nitpicky about, or some details being missed - 2:15 Not sure why Nayoung is the only girl in which you didn't mention her company... - 3:15 Yeonjung also left temporarily to debut with Cosmic Girls! - 5:39 Yeonjung joined as a main vocalist (this is just my biased butt saying this but I was also surprised she wasn't mentioned in your list of the strengths of the group, people in produce literally talk about "the next yeonjung" when there are talented vocalists but ofc everyone in the group have their strengths). Cosmic Girls is also the post-I.O.I group (if we can really call it this way) who's doing the best currently, but it never was mentioned as every other post I.O.I activities are all getting praise in different ways... I guess Yeonjung was not your favorite lol - 7:45 There were avtually a few news before Somi's departure from JYP. JYP was reportedly planning to create his new girl group, which had rumors to have Somi in (thoughts amplified when the rumored members and Somi were often seen hanging out together, and it eventually got confirmed after her departure with debut project pictures having Somi instead of Yuna). So Somi leaving JYP was even more of a shock when the fans all thought that finally, she would debut. - I.O.I never coming back again? While I definitely understand where you're coming from, some fans seem to think otherwise. Somi's Instagram post for the new year have the first letters of each sentence making "IOI 2020 #seeUsoon" I guess some mistakes or details are details are skipped to make the video not too long, but it makes me a bit sad, especially regarding Nayoung or Yeonjung considering they were part of the least appreciated members, it feels like people really disregard them or do little research about them (I'm not saying that's necessarily your case though, I'm thankful you did this video and I assume that's a lot of work still, but such "mistakes" feel like a reminder of their underappreciation). Still, I'm really fond of your content overall, thank you for taking the time to make this! Please consider giving WJSN a chance too someday, they're working really hard too
