In 2005 was at the height of his career it seemed like nothing would be able to topple his empire. On March 3, 2005 50 cent dropped his second studio album called the Massacre. The album came in at 1.15 million copies sold in it’s first week, it debuted at number one on the billboard 200 those numbers were significantly better than his debut album’s sales, which came in at 872 000 copies sold in it’s first week.
At this point in his career everything he touched turned to Gold/Platinum. 50 put his entire team on, he was able to amass a lot off success due to his businesses and even though he started beefing the game he was able to push forward and drop more hits.
Now 50’s beef with the game did take a toll on him. After beefing with game, 50 felt like maybe he should keep all his hits to himself because if you think about it he was responsible for a lot of the games first huge hits, 50 Cent's second album 'The Massacre' was pushed back in order to accommodate The Game's debut album so he felt betrayed by the game however he decided to put old grievances aside in the name of making good music and work with a duo from Brownsville New York called M.O.P.

M.o.p is known for bringing that hard hitting gangster sound to hip hip, Their most popular songs are ante up and cold as ice off of their warriorz album released in 2000 and this is the album they put the spotlight on them on a bigger scale.
There’s was a time when m.o.p’s place in g unit looked solidified. With the influence of 50 they were Mere moments away from raising hell in the rap world however in an unfortunate turn of events their time on g unit came to an abrupt end And this left their fans wondering what Happened to M.O.P during their G unit run.
