George Miller already stated in an interview that they wrote Furiosa, Fury Road, and the Movie in between the F and FR that will be about what Max was doing leading up to Fury Road all at the same time. Most likely taking parts from the video game/comics like exploring other towns, winning a battle for a engine, and killing Scrotus. Hence why Scrotus isn’t present for Fury Road. Would love to see a TV Series about a Bounty Hunter traveling to other towns/sanctuaries taking bounties and jobs for towns and people defeating Warlords and exploring more of the Mad Max World.

Sometimes when Max is in mid-battle a mysterious biker appears from nowhere to create chaos before vanishing and it resembles his dead friend. It is a spirit of vengeance. @@holdenbaldassi3697 I definitely want to see Max go into a trance-like state (like Neo in the matrix who can see all the code in the matrix) and Max can see into the spirit realm in this trance and that is when he can see things that are going on in the spirit world. For example Goose appearing on his bike helping him and causing some of his enemies to falter. If you remember from Mad Max 1 just after killing all the bad guys he loses consciousness and transforms into a different person. (his move from being Max the patrol cop to Mad Max the nomadic Road Warrior we know of now) This trance like state is partly why he is so good at fighting in the road because he has many spirits assisting him that haunt these roads to exact vengeance upon the bad guys in the wasteland. In fact you could say Max is not Mad but possessed by their will when they enter into him and that is why he wanders the wasteland to begin with. Until he has taken down all the bad guys singlehandedly as their chosen vessel, they will continue to haunt him, his car and the roads he rolls around in searching for people to torment. Basically he is cursed to wander until he kills everyone. Also it can help explain how he could hav survived that crash in Mad MAx 2. I always felt that was BS because it was a head on colision and topled the whole truck over. He would have died from that but if you add a supernatural power in there it might make a bit of sense. That is he was possessed by some spirit and they intervene. This might show he isn't himself when he goes into the trance-like state turning from regular max into The Road Warrior.

Lot of it was semi stolen content without George Miller overseeing the operation. Character names are mixed up slightly, and the story arch of the game does not tie directly into the fury road comic series. Whilst the game is phenomenal in its own right, and indeed does a good job filling in some blanks between Furiosa and Fury Road it has been stated by multiple sources that the game is it's own separate spin on the world of Mad Max. It’s clear to understand that good old George doesn’t know anything about videogames , it was underrated , it’s releasedate was a bad choice (between metal gear solid and Fallout 4) . They stole ideas and cut George out which was a mistake , Imagine if George was there all the way from start to finish , cause Avalanche did quite a good job to nail the atmosphere and the weight those cars had . There’s ton of good programming to be found in the game , from the vistas to the storms , the AI of chumbucket … I still return to play it often . It has a ballsy endgame . Downside was it was too repetitive … I can’t promote this game enough It’s as close an Mad Max hommage as it could be in a game … I would instantly buy another one if George would ever decide to work with Avalanche again to make another one …

Corpus colosus is actually a good dude in a bad situation, we actually see his birth in furiosa. Furious was good, but it wasn't nearly as good as Fury Road, which holds one of my top spots for best action films ever made. Not having Charlize hurt the film, and there was too much obvious CGI in Furiosa, it really drew me out of the film. The pacing was odd, and even the action scenes didn't have the same zip as Fury Road. Still, as far as a well made film, it was on spot and expertly crafted, and did manage to slightly deepen the lore of the Fury Road, but at the same time, I didn't need to know about Gas Town and the Bullet Farm. In retrospect, now that I've seen it, I wish they'd moved the plot forward in time with Theron playing Furiosa and gone from there.

On one hand we know Max was alive when the world collapsed so it most likely wasn't more than 20-30 years ago, but man it sure does seem like hundreds of years have passed since then. The game was always canon. Miller was upset that it was released before he could get furiousa off the ground and has said so in SEVERAL interviews. The game kinda spoiled the first half of the movie he was making. That's why he made a big deal about wanting a game director like Hideo Kojima for any new game he makes. He wants the game to be as good as the movie, and not just rushed to market to make a quick buck without consideration for the franchise as a whole.

George Miller is 79yrs old. I have my doubts he'll be able to make another one of these films. They're set way too far apart. If he wants to do it then he needs to do it out from under the unions and find someone willing to front some money for a good crew 80's style. It can be done, but not in Hollywood.

And what would make you believe that anyway? What has Disney done in terms of the R-Rated Motorhead Apocalypse film genre that would make you think they could do anything good with this franchise? If anything they'd destroy it the way they've been destroying everything else they bought. The only thing they even did slightly well with was Marvel, and now they're destroying that as well. They have no idea how to cater to the fanbases of these franchises. As a matter of fact, most who've worked on these projects have openly attacked the fans in the media. So as I said, to do this right or anything right it needs to be done outside of Hollywood, and that includes Disney. Disney is also a part of Hollywood...
