The other alternative situation would possibly concern the Pyro Sovereign, since the Traveler has apparently been imitating the powers of the Sovereigns, and not the Archons. However … honestly, with Natlan so close to release, I’d rather wait until we acquire some actual info on the situation rather than make hundreds of assumptions beforehand XD

My theory is that it has something to do with the Night Kingdom. Let me explain: In genshin impact elemental energy flows across Teyvat via Ley Lines. Assuming the reason why the traveler was able to resonate with elemental energy through the Statue of the Seven was because the Statue of the Seven are connected to the Ley Lines. But Natlan does not have any stable rooted Ley Lines, as we have learned the Night Kingdom acts as Natlan's ley lines. So I suspect that as long as the abyss continues to corrupt the Night Kingdom, the traveler will not have access to the pyro element until the Night Kingdom is purified from the abyss. Only then the traveler will have access to the pyro element.

I have a theory on why it happened. It's because the Pyro element will only be unlocked in the final chapter of the story When the Pyro Archon will give the Gnosis to the traveller and not to the Fatui. Because if the Fatui have the last Gnosis, what is there to stop Tsaritsa's Plan of Rebelion against the Heveanly principles. Also, it will move the story forward for the next nation, Schneznaya if the Traveler has the Pyro Gnosis by the end the Fatui will focus solely on the Traveler to get it no matter what and what a better advantage in the Home nation of the Cyro Archon. The biggest evidence that I have was from the very beginning when Dainsleif explained the Nation of War is. "THE PYRO ARCHON SHARED HER SECRETS WITH THE TRAVELLER". And to my understanding with that level of trust to be able to sharre her deepest secrets to the traveller has a high chance of the Pyro Archon to rely and depend on Aether/Lumine for the future of the people in Natlan.

I haven't watched the video yet but I'll tell you what I think. I believe that the reason the traveler can't get the pyro element is because the twin of the abyss has already started to affect the ley lines, since if I'm not mistaken, that's where the elemental energy circulates. and if so, it will be very good because the way for the traveler to gain more power will have to be through other means throughout the story and apart from the involvement of the abyss twin in the story.

@imlivid2746 We defeated Tartaglia back in Liyue. However, the Traveler and Tartaglia have both increased in strength since then. We don't know if the Traveler could still beat them. Signora doesn't seem to be the type to train often. It's more than likely that from our first meeting with her to our last the she was consistently the same strength. If the Harbingers were to have a competition and fight for their seats (pretend Signora's death didn't happen), the seats would likely have to be rearranged if only slightly.

I think it's the plot of the first Black Panther movie. Going along with Ashikai's theory that Capitano is Xbalanque's brother. Think about it, Mauvika in the Role of Black Panther, Capitano in the role of Killmonger, we have Xbalanque in the role of TChaka. Mauvika goes missing after the duel vs Capitano, Capitano throws Natlan into more conflict. Xbalanque eliminated. Traveler inherits Mauvika's power to overthrow Capitano. Allowing the Traveler to become the Pyro Archon in name and giving them a direct line to Celestia. Look at how they referenced the patches. 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3. If 5.1 doesn't end in a Cliffhanger I'll be very, very surprised.

You know, if the Abyss has been encroaching on Natlan so successfully, maybe that is the factor that set everything in motion now, 500 years after the Cataclysm. If Natlan were to fall in an event similar in magnitude to Cataclysm, all sorts of parties must be getting ready to act. Older gods are making sure their followers can survive without them (while the gods are going to be busy in the epicenter), Fatui are collecting manpower and technology like crazy, and Abyss are making all sorts of plans too.

And so we can only obtain the pyro element after we've cleansed the abyss from the Night Kingdom.

What hit me the most is the fact that all of pyro vision handler are just basic af human with a big will, look at yoimiya, diluc, bennett, gaming, dehya, lyney, if you forgot yanfei they're all normal human being, but if you look at some electro or cryo vision handler like ganyu, shenhe, or even razor who's affiliated with the wolvendom, they're all affiliated with adepti/old god/archons or have the power to be a god/archons if you look at scaramouche/xianyun, the travelers is not really "human" by the laws of teyvats
