Jains have similar fasting ritual too. Even if one gets hypoglycemia, they can reverse it asap by taking in sugar candies, biscuits, juice- a quice sugar loaded food item. Hydration with electrolytes is the prime key

after eating you get those 2kg back, it's just water weight, the actual amount of fat you lose per day is around 120 gram each day, after Day 3 metabolism slows down, making it harder to lose weight through this. This often leads the body to eat muscles is overdone. Tim Ferris suggests slow carb diet which should be followed for a great rate of fat loss per day

@@S1lence13 Well i have gone on longer fast than ten days, muscles have water weight to them, you will see muscle loss apparanetly if you are fasting frequently, it completely fine to go on 15 day fast once in a year, Fasting has more benefit for skin , diabetes and other aliments, it is not a method of fat loss. Only you are inducing ketosis with ethers then it is a different matter completely ! although it taste like jet fuel to be honest !

Get yourself a check for NAFLD ( Non Alcoholic Fatty liver disease), sometimes when the body remains in ketosis for too long, the body breaks lots of fats and the broken down fats go to liver where they are used to power other organs but the fats that reaches the liver is attached with VLDL ( Very Low Density Lipoprotein) and if the fat that is being sent to liver is too much then the liver is overwhelmed and the production of VLDL can't remain equal to the fat reaching the liver, sometimes causing VLDL. My friend told me this, I could be wrong!!!

You’re not wrong! It’s way too much stress for the liver. When fasting beyond 2 to 3 days, ketosis can progress to keto acidosis making the blood acidic, it’s extremely dangerous. You start to break down muscle mass beyond that so I don’t see how this can actually benefit someone. Anyone can look it up…starvation keto acidosis, it’s an issue among people with eating disorders and other gastric diseases, I can’t understand why someone would willfully bring this upon themselves. Ketosis begins at 12 hours, so it’s absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary to go days without food.

People have fasted on this planet forever. Some by choice and others by force. I've seen many fasting g videos and know. People who fast. Not once did any of them develop fatty liver disease. That's extremely rare for a water fast(even extended). It's more common in alcoholics.

@@smokytopaz868It’s best to take electrolytes. I’m currently fasting (I completed a 7 day water fast a few months ago) and this time I’m only having salt. Do what works best for you. Some people are more sensitive and need more while some people are okay with less. If fasting is hard on you definitely start slow. In the beginning you can start with just a 24 hour fast and then eat and then increase to two days then eat. You can go up to three days too and after you’ve shown your body what to expect and that everything is okay you can complete a full 7 day fast. Just a suggestion and I hope it works out! 🌸🩷

Not an expert but smtg ik is that he prolly followed ketosis in which we limit or stop consumption of carbs so our body can breakdown the fat in our body to gain energy. U can follow this it's safe but u needa have electrolytes if u're doing the same as him. Edit: ya'll I have no clue what went wrong with ya'll's ketosis, me and my sis did it once like a year and half ago for a week and I was successful (my sis gave up half way cuz it was her b'day and she wanted to eat the cake), I drank water for 6 and half days, and got off like 3 kgs smtg (I don't clearly remember) after lockdown i was *on verge* of being overweight and this helped me bring back *my* normal weight which was b4 lockdown. Yhh but i didn't do intense physical stuffs tho, everyday I just went for a brisk walk from home to school and back and then to tuit and back, almost like 1 km a day smtg ig. After that I did zumba for half a year and now I'm rlly satisfied with my weight

Yes it's safe and actually good for your body to do fasting Keep few things in mind Drink only boiled water. You can drink from sunrise till sunset. No water after sunset. No brushing your teeth when you're fasting. Talk less and walk less, although you can work for a day or two if your head doesn't pain When taking a bath avoid the water to go into your mouth as it breaks the fast. When your fasting is completed Next day on sunrise start with brushing teeth and drink a bowl of " UKAALI" with some badams and even misri and a glass of milk without sugar. Main difficult thing is not fasting but the days after fasting as it requires even more discipline, if you've fasyed for 5 days then make sure you're on complete bedrest on 5 days plus additional few days, eat grean vegetables and liquid diet and only walk when you need to take a pee or poop and socks should be on all the time and walk while wearing slippers cz if you don't then it can give you diseases for the life time and I'm not lying here

Guys, as a medical student, this is not a healthy way to lose weight. As soon as you start eating normally, your weight will be back to day 1, because you didn't use any actual active lifestyle changes. To lose weight, a lifestyle change is suggested by doctors, with adequate exercise, lesser processed food, waking up and sleeping at correct times, and moving your body, while having 6 meals (3 main and 3 snacks), it is the quality and portion you manage. This is not good to do frequently, or over long periods of time, it leads to degrade of muscles and ketone bodies due to lack of glucose, which may even lead to diabetes mellitus. Get advice of an actual nutritionalist or doctor to lose weight, or to get healthier, or just to have a better metabolism or stuff, don't follow the methods with consultation of an expert. These can also lead to development of eating disorders, bro.

Because he took electrolytes, and lift high weights or low weights with more reps wich prevent muscle loss and body get the glucose from the fat... and I think this type of fastings also increase neurons in our brains, recover the waste cells in our body... Fasting means we give some time to our body to repair itself...with this I think we can prevent some health issues...and I think everyone not only Google these things... But also try them and get some amazing results.... Eating for 6 times a day is the worst of maintaining our body without resting it...

3 years ago in my college days i only take 2 meals a day and in vary low quantity like 4 roti a day only no oil no fat i loose my fat but but after. Fat decreased, and he worked out. The human body likes to get rid of fat first before it gets to muscle. Easiest to burn is carbs (also easiest to store as fat), next fats, and then protein. Brain likes carbs but body likes fats and protein

@@polothedog Bro increased muscle percentage doesn't mean that he increased his muscles. Let's take an example I have a 40-litre bowl. In that bowl, I poured 20 liters of water and 20 liters of oil. Now the water and oil percentage in that bowl is 50%-50%. Now let's remove 10 liters of oil from that bowl. Now there are 20 liters of water and 10 liters of oil. So now the percentage will be 66.6%-33.3%. Since we didn't add water but water percentage increased because the percentage of oil decreased. The same applies to fat and muscle percentage in our body.

Quick calculations Weight- 79-76.1=2.9 kgs loss Body fat- 23.1%-21.7%=1.4% less Bmi- 24.1-23.2= 0.9 less Muscle- 49.7%-50.6%= 0.9% more than before Lol that took so much time ❤😂
