Hello there guys, we know we normally don't ask this, but our narrator : Royal Carter, has a very close friend who has been diagnosed with a terrible disease. He asked us to put a link to a support page, to be visible for you. Here is the page : www.supportful.com/2423cf3e-97ea-492c-9ab2-b23fe8847957 We are sure that any small support from you would help. Thanks guys!

Some correction 1-Christian were majority in Levant and Egypt until the Abbasid decline the first time they became a minority was under the Tuluni Emirate, they faced restrictions and sometimes persecution under the Seljuk/Zengi/Ayyubi/Mamluk states that made their numbers decline 2-Christians of Maghrab were few and just represented a part of the population, but the reason why there are almost no Christians in Maghrab is because Almohdons forced the remaining Christians to convert to Islam as a respond to the Norman Crusader Invasion of North Libya and North Tunisia

@@MrTristanryan Yeah I know that you think about the last decades of the Ottoman's 6 century long history. But you should know that it was the secular ultranationalist young Turks who ruled at those times. The sultan had no power. He was just a puppet. The founder of Turkey, Atatürk, was a member of that ultranationalist party. So I would consider the Armenian genocide done by the Republic of Turkey, not the Ottoman Empire. Just my opinion.

Turkey had a large Christian population - about 20% in 1914 prior to WWI. This was reduced to %5 as of 1927 mainly due to ethnic violence, massacres and the world's first formal population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Now Christians constitute less than 0.5% while Muslims around 89% (including non-denominational muslims and secularists).

But there's even more evangelical type congregations in other areas. Istanbul is a fascinating city with many secrets.

Tourist love the calm and almonds. Tourists are ALWAYS zombies - immune to reality. They struggle to understand the consequences of wealth disparity, when they visit a trashed country. So they get stabbed, mugged, robbed, raped and murdered and "wonder" about the crime. Zombies devoid of a braincell. Reminds me of the song, "I left my leg, in San Francisco." Their famous cable car has a reputation for SUDDEN stops and being without seatbelts, a number of tourists have lost a limb. Zombies who should check out the dangers online, but are too busy looking pretty.

We dont consider ourselves as Arabs since we live in Africa and not in the middle east(fortunately we dont) so we see ourselves as berbers who are the original citizens of the north African countries (Morocco-Algeria-Tunisia). Some found the way to Jesus and some are still reading and nourishing their minds&spirits, seeking the truth. In our history, we lived for a long time with jews, we consider them as our brothers and neighbours, we also support Israel and we think Jerusalem is the promised land.(If you notice anything thats opposed to that, its actually coming from an Arab country that wants to force another reality to us)

The last persecution against moriscos happened as recently as 1727, where the last mass exterminatation took place, several villages werem raided and sacked, many if not the most escaped in north africa. From this point of time no more was left from the islamic influence apart from the genetic impact and some remnants of the islamic religion. There are some inhabitants of small towns in Murcia and Andalusia , which preserved traditions of the Muslim religion (praying toward Mecca , practice fasting during the day in Easter, etc. ) but although it is clear that these people are descendants of cryptomuslims , currently these customs are practiced only by family tradition and people who do it are not aware of being Muslims.

When Christian's re-took Sicily under the Norman's, Muslims and all minorities were treated well and kindly. Many arabic maps and scientific treasures from Muslim Sicily were preserved as well. Who are the Black Bare-Barr and how do they relate to the Santana of the Lemtuna tribes and what is their connection with modern Senegal and some of the modern day Amazigh/Berber tribes?

It is really a tragedy how Christianity was pushed out by Islam in North Africa. All of these countries in North Africa would have been so much richer and developed, and the inhabitants would have faced less racism today, if this region would have maintained Christianity as its main religion. Religion is without a doubt a very bad thing, but when you have a religion as backward and oppressive as Islam, the negative effects of religion becomes so much stronger.

@@pcgamingonyt5798 I am not. It is a fact. There is not a single Muslim country, perhaps aside from Dubai, that have an economy as developed as any economy with Christian origins. The only rich Muslim countries have economies based on oil. Muslim countries are characterized by authoritarian governments, internal strife, widespread poverty and horrible gender inequality. I am sorry, but these societies are not as developed as the Christian ones. Just imagine what Portugal and Spain would look like now, if there had not been a reconquest by Christians. Spain would be like Morroco or Egypt. There is one explanation, which is Islam. Because Islam teaches women to be kept on a chain and the followers to follow ancient rigid rules like how to go to the toilet and how to dress. These societies are stuck in backwardness and don't develop, because everything in these countries are just focused about following Islam, rather on than on learning and adapting to modern times. But, don't get me wrong. I am not an islamophobe - I am against religion of any kind. Christianity is also bad, but at least it is not as bad as Islam, which is the religion that has had the most negative effect on the world, keeping its followers in poverty, opresssion and general backwardness.

To be critical of Islam is not being racist. Islam is a religion, not a race. Europeans have evolved by not letting religion being at the center of life - the French revolution is a good example. It championed enlightment, individualism, science, democracy - whilst Islam is still stuck in medieval times. Those values you state Europeans left, are not values worth keeping, if you think that opression of women, homosexuals and making religion at the center of everything are values worth keeping. Europe has developed and abandoned old stupid superstitions - Religion is ancient superstition. We have evolved since the time of Abraham - religion should have no place in a modern society. Instead, because of the fanatical worship of Islam, we see movements like ISIS and Al Qaeda, and fanatical young men who think they will go to heaven and be rewarded with virgins, by blowing themselves up on a subway train.

Just to correct you there 7:40 Muslims had to pay more taxes then the non muslims The non Muslims paid jizyah and the Muslims paid zakat, and jiyah was to ensure the protection of non Muslims and allow them safe haven in the caliphate.
@user-sm8tx1hr8v
@user-sm8tx1hr8v 4 жыл бұрын
@Ezio Auditore Well perhaps I can explain, When and when only the Non-Muslims used the services provided by the Muslims, they had to pay. Muslims paid for this by Zakat, which helped the community, and plus Muslims couldn't force Zakat on Non-Muslims because it is something religious, so the jizya was given. Now if you believe that Jizya was a humiliation than you are humiliated every day. You have to pay taxes, but in America if your a Catholic and donate money to the poor you get a tax exempt ID allowing you not to be tax, so if every Catololic does that than is tax a non-Catholic tax. As for second Class citizens, well these Second Class citizens became scholars and government officials. Unlike in Medieval Chirstians states where Muslims rarely rose to power.
