What Happens If a Chinese Fighter Jet CRASHES Into a US Aircraft Carrier?

If a Chinese fighter manages to get close enough to crash into a US carrier, I'd imagine someone in the carrier's support group is going to be relieved of their command. The support ships are supposed to protect the carriers.

That is a really stupid question. If any country would attempt to get an aircraft close to an American aircraft carrier they would be shot down before they became a realistic threat.

The last time an enemy pilot tried to land on a US carrier by mistake was in WWII, when a Japanese pilot attempted a landing. IFF was not well developed in those days & visual identification was key.

Ships of the United States Navy while better built than say the only Russian carrier and Chinese carriers can be hurt as any ships, no matter whose navy one talks about, can still be damaged. It's the training of those respective navies that tells the tale, and believe me, our (USN) sailors are VERY well trained.

Wasn’t one of those early pictures of a jet crashing on deck (blue jet )-a: PANTHER 9YF??? Korea maybe? If numbers wrong-I’m Sticking with the-PANTHER. A Friend built a model of one-I liked the design. My favorite growing up was a P-51 & SR-71 Blackbird. One time on Cape Cod a heard a Different sound in the air-even though I had Never heard that sound before-I KNEW IT WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL! And it was moving FAST-we were near an Air Base & used to jets & Air shows-but this was so different I Somehow knew it was a P-51! And I was right!! It went from the Horizon in front of me to the Horizon in back of me in Seconds! & it seemed Rather Low flying over the beach-I was Jumping up & down shouting like I was at a Rodeo! It remains one of my stand out memories!! (I know that’s nothing to today’s speeds-but it was a Thrill for me on that day /it was my plane model). Real. And thankful for peacetime.

IN MY VIEW Bad countries convince their pilots committing suicide with their lives fighting enemies is honor. America convinces their pilots to stay alive fighting enemies because America values EACH pilots life. America honors pilots.

Saving life of others, esp their pilots of our opponents, is a good Samaritan practice. HOWEVER, we do not speculate our enemies to treat our pilots as KIND, VALOR we carry. Tht's a HUGE MAJOR RISK to consider our bromacing with our enemies at war.
