In the steam description, it’s stated that Amanda is now aware of Riley’s presence. Probably after the true ending in the first game, she recognized us. That’s why she told us her secret. And it’s why we are able to interact with her more and she doesn’t treat us like kids. (Most of the time) she puts up an act, but breaks it quickly.

Additionally you can hand over the tape to amanda at the ending and then you go back to the tv the monster puts it in the vcr then amanda jumps out of the tv same with Jo- I mean wooly but it’s just the bodies then when you break the tapes the souls of them go into there body’s then sam comes in bruised and cut signaling he escaped hameln
