heyo Kanon, im a dev at a game company and to answer your question about what do Producers do (slightly varies company to company) in short, they manage the scheduling, making sure all the work that needs to gets done, gets done on time and (hopefully) in a sustainable way the Lead Producer im guessing was the PO (Product Owner) and so their responsibility is to do all of that but at a much bigger scale, more like features rather than smaller individual assets. Theyre also responsible for doing market research for what else is going out there in the entertainment world and working with other directors to help formulate which direction the game should be going in. Just because the game is going in a better direction now does not mean he did his job well. IE - if he was part of the reason why they initially did the autoplay, combat system etc... and it got HEAVY negative feedback from the playerbase (which it did) they need to rebuild it, and as the PO (at least in part) it is his fault and even though he was part of fixing the issue, he could also have been the progenitor, and now that they fixed it, its pretty common for them to step down as he had initially led the team in a bad direction. Basically, mismanagement of resources, costing the company millions of dollars, bla bla bla they get paid an absolute truck ton of money... but that also means they also need to carry a lot of the responsibility as well if things go well... HUGE payout if things go bad... you take MOST of the blame and get voluntold to leave hope this helps!

Ncsoft shareholders made that guy step down because he screwed up by only launching TL in Korea. TL was supposed launch globally as originally attended. Now because of the TL launch in Korea, it killed the hype of TL and most players who waited for the global launch dont have the same interests in TL anymore... All Ncsoft had to do was release TL all globally, not just in Korea. A lot of $$$$ was lost due to this huge mistake.

the production lead resigning does not mean it's necessarily going bad, it may mean he did his job and the game is ready for global release and him moving to a different place in the company where his resources will be more of a benefit, both for him and the company

Lol positive? What planet are you living on? They are merging down to 4 servers in KR. The game failed so hard they have to make a moblie version to try and make some money. Less dev time will be put into the PC version untill they shut it down. The game is a flop and probably won't even come to the west.

It is already a dead p2w game. All of the hype is gone for me. It wants to be full 3D game but the movement is laggy and glitchy, especially jumping and flying and getting on places outside of main zones. The menus are full mobile like and the impossibility of just using auction house if you are not paying money is laughable. Not to mention the horrible PVP system that only total psychopats from Russia like. No fairness, no fun. Just hard work and hard cash into the shop.
