Looked like you guys were having the day he imagined. Then his over thinking led to poaching a spot. My river guide buddy calls them bird dogs...Great trip for you

He was doing a side scan drive by and hitting a waypoint Id say, typical hole buzzard move. Dude..please get rid of that trout net 🤣

Absolutely. He spent his first hour out there staring at his live scope and not catching anything. You'll have to pry my trout net out of my cold dead hands!

It happens to me a lot. I fish from a jon, but our river is narrower at spots. People don't think or don't care. Your fishery is amazing. I am jealous. You need a bigger net!

Yeah I don't think everyone consciously tries to be an asshole, sometimes they just aren't thinking outside themselves. Me and my tiny net are in a healthy professional relationship. It works for us 😅

Does the DJI cameras solve the issue GoPro’s have with over heating and not inexplicably turning off for no reason?
@RivermanTV-
@RivermanTV- Ай бұрын
I never have issues with my 7 black as long as I have the battery out and camera plugged in. But I also don't have overheating issues with the Osmos either.

@ I have a hero 10 and I finally gave up on it. Had an issue every time I tried to use it. May try again next year.

Of course he did. He had to side scan it right then instead of another time!

Do you launch at the one further up river or the one you are close to in the video? I.e. 4. Trying to not give away the spot 😁

The close one. We don't name names around these parts.

This is Edward. Is that more like lake fishing or was there current?
@RivermanTV-
@RivermanTV- Ай бұрын
There is some noticeable current in certain areas but this time of year when the river is low it's hard to feel. It's definitely there but probably not affecting fish location near as much as in spring.

Imagine finding time to hook up a boat trailer, drive out to the river, launch, park- just to pull up beside someone enjoying their day on the water. It’s annoying. His wife obviously kicked him out of the house. 🤣

😂 sorry if that comment was off base. It literally felt like 6 pounder so it was a little confusing for a 19" to hop into the net.

Happens all the time. Ignorant boaters don't even realize they are being dicks. I stopped being nice and now tell them to get the f away from me. Love your channel dude, great stuff.

Blissfully ignorant this one. That's the way I feel inside but I generally try to avoid interaction - good or bad - with anyone on the water as that's often my place to be alone. I definitely have the blood boiling at times though 😅 Thanks for coming along!

I've seen it! I just don't know how anyone could frame this one as our fault 😂 I guess I "don't own the water" so maybe that's where they could get me

Definitely a d*ck move but it’s far from the sole domain of boaters. I’ve had the same thing happen from kayakers while wading and bank fishing. One kayaker intentionally drove through a hole we were fishing and gave us a look like we were imposing on his movement, despite there being a a hundred yards of river he could have moved through without getting near us. When he gave us one last dismissive look after exiting the hole I sent a cast 40 yards that landed inches from his port side. Oopsies. 🤷‍♂️ Keep up the great content. 🫡

I have had the same problems wading &bank fishing. All d×ck moves.

Seems like there’s a hierarchy: Big boats > smaller boats > kayaks > bank anglers
@RivermanTV-
@RivermanTV- Ай бұрын
I've sent some risky casts close to boats myself 😅 I do try to avoid getting to that though. Yeah your experience is an obvious asshole move. I guess the takeaway is that there are selfish idiots everywhere. My favorite way of dealing with them is just simply outfishing them 😈
