Please read her basic attack description 13:39 in the video where it says that her skill, ex skill, dodge, dodge attack, or dash attack will not interrupt her attack combo.

i can sum it up for you, but you can check out mrpokke react to iyo vid if you want the whole picture. So iyo been using fighting game terms in his tweet and uploads, keep saying hes a fighting game player a billion times, trying to educate gacha community that there is depth to wuwa and zzz, not to just button mashing. Wuwa is a fighting game like street fighter, tekken, marvel vs capcom, in his eye. Saying that gacha players are uneducated compared to fighting game players who are accustomed to fighting game terms. He been tweeting on being the one who discover certain technique and exploits in wuwa etc.He uploaded a controversial take which mrpokke, tectone and fighting game CC react to, he said WuWa doesn't have a dedicated CC like him, discrediting other CC because they play multiple game, have no passion and couldn't lift the game up. The community took offence ofc regardless of what he really meant with his words. Not long ago, like 2 days, another experienced fighting games explained what "kara cancel" is and proved iyo been using the term wrong, labeling a normal cancel as kara cancel, negative edge is probably correct but he didn't test it out since he doesn't have jiyan. Been showing the technique on how to juggle mobs in wuwa which are pointless bcus the engame content filled with elite and bosses which cannot be juggled and the game itself put a limit on how many times mobs can be juggled. (Sorry for my bad english, not my mother language)

off topic but have you tried switching r2 and r1 on controller? it makes switching easier if your finger naturally falls on the r2 button also, using L1 to switch to the next character feels easier and more fluid, since it distracts less from doing other things with your right hand hope this might help :)
