Are you fishing the jetties off Packery Channel ? And on the Spade Fish you caught, back in the 60's we called those Angel Fish. And yes they are good to eat.

that is funny. Unfortunately though and I’m just theorizing here, I believe it may be because of the hyper inflation and price increases parts of the nation are beginning to experiencing. Price increases to the shrimpers and therefore the price increases so much that they can no longer charge by the pound and now must charge by the piece? I dunno... just my theory on it... and admittedly I am not even an avid fisherman but I do love the videos.

yah the “lemon rig”, he had a video on it before maybe a year or two ago. I had no idea what it was when I saw it. So I did some additional half assed research on it and found some videos on how to make them from “early” youtube like, a decade ago. Not being an avid fisherman myself, I surmised that apparently they are a relatively known informal type of rig amongst more avid fisher peoples. Pretty cool how they work.

And no it’s not “marketed” as an actual fishing item; it’s a do it yourself type of deal where you get an empty lemon juice bottle, the ones that actually look like a lemon or lime, and fill it with a few metal bb’s and put some sealer on the cap and then tie it to the rig. Again I’ve never fished with one nor made one, that is what I learned after finding out about it from his first lemon rig video and then googling on it some more.
