Hi. How much swift pay per/mile to owners ?

It’s a sliding scale depending on miles. Minimum of 1.15 per mile plus fuel surcharges. That changes every week and this week it was .421.

Do you need to have a trainee to make money as a lease purchase there at swift? I hear a little of guys saying they net $600 a week there.

I consistently made 1500-2500 a week as a solo otr. I hear the same thing but that wasn’t me. It’s pretty easy to do but I think it’s all about the person and their ability to call and ask for loads. The planners will not go out of their way to help so it’s up to the driver. There are a lot of lazy drivers here, but once again that’s not me. I hope this helps with your question?

It’s actually going very well! You have train on my account and sometimes it gets old if your student isn’t a good driver. You have to take the good with the bad.
