It's usually never that high. If you did buy that many it actually be a few cents cheaper and I'm sure that's how many the name brand company buys at a time they negotiate so they would most definitely be paying less the 4. Usually anywhere from 50-100 being the highest prices. Then discount anywhere from 200 above you'll see another few cents taken off at 500 and 1000 anything higher contact the company directly.

One more point - after sales support. Most 'premium' brands don't get where they are just because of pure marketing. They're generally well prepared to back it up with after sales support. E.g. My buddy's friend had a Rimowa luggage bag (>$500) that had a faulty wheel after he had landed overseas. He brought it to the closest Rimowa dealer and they had it repaired at no cost to him and loaned him a replacement in the interim. Granted Hydroflask isn't even in the same league, I'm sure they'd have no issues sending out a replacement part with minimal to no questions asked if you'd have an issue.

I literally don’t care about their brand as a status. I hadn’t even heard of them when I bought my bottle. So why did I get it? It was the largest bottle (1.8L) that I could find that is of decent quality. I drink a lot of water and 99% of bottles are 800ml or less which is not enough. I’ve seen cheaper high quality bottles for those sizes but never for something so large. If they are out there, let me know As an aside, for those smaller bottles, the most important thing is the lid. The bottle with my favourite lid was discontinued.
