Gua Sha tips for any beginners that are interested -hold your stone at an angle, it should almost be flat against your skin. Also use light pressure, ultimately your skin shouldn’t move at all but that takes practice so holding your skin in place with the opposite hand can be beneficial. The lymph sits near the surface of the skin, if you press too hard then you’re dealing more with muscles and fascia. Wildling beauty has helpful videos! Enjoy! 💕

Love your food content and try almost every recipe. They're all fantastic. Everyone has different skin types and needs. I feel like it's better to get specific and individual skin care advice from a dermatologist rather than wasting money a bunch of shit that worked great for someone else and ends up in the trash.

For a medium priced moisturizer for sensitive skin (or irritated skin from using retinol/tretinoin), Stratia Liquid Gold is incredible. I’ve repurchased it a million times and it’s the only thing that calms my skin.

Gua sha can cause acne to begin with! I had a bunch for a little bit as I started a regular practise. It’s not a bad thing, just a sign of drainage.

Caitlin, I thought I'd recommend a product for your tight jaw muscles, I also have the same thing and it really helps, it's Weleda Arnica Massage Balm, works so well I call it my magic. They also have a product called Arnica Massage Oil, which doesn't work for me at all so make sure you get the balm if you decide to get it. x
