I wasn’t the only one craving a basil midnight snack ☠️
I cannot BELIEVE how often I’ve had to use my digital microscope on my plants. Even if you don’t want one, you know you want one 🙈
Time to start my mini garden all over again, but this time I’m going to steer clear of all open windows 😵‍💫

around christmas my grandmother got me an aero garden and like 3 months ago I got the salsa pack and so now I have over 100 tomatoes growing in my backyard.. my parents are not too happy lol

Dang, I didn’t know aphids are so relentless that they just pop in through open windows! For some reason I was under the impression that they don’t move large enough distances to infect plants that are far away from where they were born.

People told me they can get in also from your CLOTHES 🤮. Sneaky sneaky.

They get in in all sorts of sneaky ways. They reproduce asexually (male + female not necessary) and many aphids are born pregnant! So if you miss just one aphid, the next day you could have dozens of the damned things all ready to produce more.

I love using hydroponics to propagate my string of turtle leaves. Whenever they fall off the mother plant, I just pop them in and they hardly ever rot

Fun fact, a lot of bugs like, mosquitoes, ants and many other pests HATE lavender so if you want you can just get a spray bottle, fill 2/3 with water and put some lavender buds in there (do not dry, and keep on the stem if possible) and let that sit in your window for 5 days, after that you have an all natural bug spray (though I don’t know how it works for aphids)

I try to clean my leaves regularly (once a month). If there’s an active infestation I spray every 2/3 days until gone and then wash the leaves
