Learning to decipher between anxiety and intuition is the most powerful tool to not letting anxiety rule your life 🙏🏼

Your “fear” meditation made me cry so much. Whenever I feel uncomfortable in a situation or a place - I try to find a quiet place, breathe calmly and say anything that could make me feel better. It never worked actually, but today’s video made me realize that we’re fragile beings, and sometimes being vulnerable is a necessity in order to find a greater peace within ourselves. Thank you for today’s video.

Each of you are completely valid in your perceptions and experiences! I have acute anxiety specifically surrounding eye contact/staring. I feel that the people around me are staring at me and picking me apart or judging me. I started wearing over the ear headphones and a hoodie into grocery stores/on walks to create a boundary between me and the outside world. It’s a challenge to function with social anxiety and you are doing the best that you can! Just keep trudging along and know that there are others out there who share a similar sentiment 🌼

I just had the same thoughts about my parents, I realized how little time it seems we have left together and I wish I could go back in time and have the knowledge and compassion I have now to spend more time with them when they were younger / more quality time, more talks, more fun together and so on, somehow I also really wish I could “meet” my parents when they were really young and just give them a hug and tell them they are loved because I know both of them lacked it growing up! It has been sad for me to think about their death but also served the purpose of understanding how much more I should value the time we spend together, and just generally trying to plan more special moments together!

I just want to say hearing you speak about climate anxiety helped me a lot. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed and sad about the current state of the world, and even trying to do what I can it still upsets me. It seemed that very few of my friends understood that feeling when I tried to explain it to them, but hearing you speak about it made me realize that even though climate anxiety is a pretty hard feeling to deal with, at least more people are dealing with it together with me at the same time. And that in itself is pretty comforting even when I can't directly do stuff about it besides trying my best to treat other people and the earth with as much kindness as possible. So thank you.

Hey hitomi, thanks so much for your videos! With regard to what we can do about climate anxiety, the individual actions to lesson your footprint are great but the biggest thing, I believe, is to organize. Joining a group like the Sunrise Movement for example. It’s really the only way for us non-1%ers to make a difference, to band together and change policy and cultural awareness
