But paying for damages they cause would be "inconvenient" and might inhibit a power-high deputy from doing the one thing he joined the force for. An unrestricted power-trip with the feeling of being above the law, being the law itself and having immunity to your defence while they abuse you, attack you and infringe on your rights. Nobody becomes a cop to "protect and serve" that's bullshit. It's because of the pension, and that they were bullied in high-school and the only way they can feel adequate as a man, rather than an impotent sissi-boi, is to harass, attack, beat, torture and maim without so much as a retaliation. And if you do defend yourself, they can say that they "feared for their life" and end yours, then be backed up by the "thin blue line" so that they ever get charged for murder, and never even have to apologise. If this a cop reading this, know that I hate you, and with all the times I've gotten arrested for being in a bad neighbourhood and "posessing" drugs that I don't have, or having "too much cash in my wallet" even though I just cashed my check for the work I do as an electrician to feed myself, or getting thrown on the ground because my car "smells like weed" (Which it didn't! I wasn't fucking high bastard!). Know that if I could, I'd rape your tight cop boipussy (asshole) till it bleeds and then fuck that face till your vocal cords are damaged and you can't speak anymore! You're scum and I hate your guts you dirty squealing swine fuck!

IS it when the cops kick in your door shoot your dog, then say sorry..wrong house. We had bad intel? Is it when they shoot an armed guy reaching for his wallet, as he said "i'm armed but reaching for my wallet"? Is it when you are complying and they shoot you anyway? I'm pro cop. They are not looking for illegal immigrants. They are looking for drugs. They don't want to stop immigration. They want MORE immigration. The weigh station in my home town/county near the border cost something like 5 million dollars. Every year they they get close to catching close to the amount of drugs needed to fund to rebuild it. The one permanent border patrol stop all they do is ask if your a Us citizen or just wave you through most days. I think it’s there to deter drug traffic and people picking up hitchhikers there. (There’s a prison near by). The truly effective ones are the ones they’d set up randomly for a couple of days somewhere along the highway. Scared my 15yr old ass when I was helping my grandpa out and we were coming back from the ranch with his 3 Mexican helpers (who I think definitely came across illegally 20-40 yrs ago but are now naturalized citizens) and I forgot my driver’s license and was sure I was going to prison (idiot 15 yr old me not knowing crap). They saw my grandpa (who came through the previous day) and had a good chat, waved us through forgetting to ask about our id. I apologize I realize I went way off topic and wrote to much but wrote to much to delete so have fun y’all.

Instead of spreading agents out all along the border, it's more effective to set them up in checkpoints along the main routes the illegals use to move further into the country. If this were a balanced piece, it would have given us examples of the checkpoints' effectiveness, e.g., drugs seized, human traffickers arrested, etc. I've been through these checkpoints probably a hundred times. The agents run a drug-sniffing dog around your car, look in your window and ask if you're a US citizen. I tell them, "Yessir," and I'm on my way. They're looking for suspicious behavior, folks. If you're driving a windowless van that looks like it's weighed down with passengers, headed away from the border, and you refuse to say where you're coming from, guess what? That's suspicious. Same goes for when the dog alerts. And incidentally, the dog alerts not by jumping up and barking, but by SITTING DOWN, so the person transporting the drugs won't be alerted. You can't say the dog DID NOT alert unless you were outside the car watching it. Ironically, though, a lot of the checkpoints have been closed recently, so the agents can be transferred to the border to help process the illegals picked up there during this "crisis." Happy now?

Jenn West Yeah no one is gonna paste this. The grammar is terrible. When did they force children to enroll in public schools? Of course you need to be registered as a citizen, if you don’t, you legally have no rights, which is the case in all countries. Which country doesn’t tell the military what to do? The military is part of the government. If they couldn’t, the military could do anything like take over the country.

Brian Lin you’re wrong in everything you just said. Citizens are members of the United States for defence purposes and have no rights wxcept those that the government chooses to let them have. Free people not under any obligation have all their rights. No child is required to be enrolled or registered and public schools are government schools, no one is required to attend government schools. Schools originally belonged to free people and the government took them over through various tactics of usurpation of power. The United States never was and isn’t a country it is a creation for defence purposes, a corporation doing business for defence of free people. There is a government report from 1956 that explains al this.

Most of those check points are looking for drugs. Years back we were coming up out of Albuquerque New Mexico and came upon a check that lit up the sky ahead of us. This is back in the 80’s, when we asked what it was about they told us a lot of drugs flow up this highway to the rest of the country. Maybe the difference was the police back then, they believed we still had rights.

I unlocked door, showed him the inside, the bathroom, and he saw the ramp and demanded that I show him what was in there. I looked at his grim sincerity and led him to the back of the trailer and said here you are. He told me to get back in my car and head up the road.

Richard Conte Canadian border clerks are fascist feces. Canada has less rights then the United States. So when a Soviet canuckistan border clerk acts like a piece of shit they have more of an allowance to do it. The united states government officials have been more tyrannical and corrupt. But not as much as government thugs of canada.

What about the 4th Amendment right to travel unobstructed and protection of your person and papers against search and seizure? These check points are unconstitutional. You are going to have to think of some legal way to catch illegals. Federal Agents should know better than to abuse constitutional rights.

Not really: when politicians say we can't afford a border wall, most Americans have no clue it's because the money is spent paying "border patrol" to harass Americans.

I advocate a 3 part solution to our boarder problems. 1) Secure the boarder with a wall, fence, or any other measure that stops future illegal crossing. 2) Deal with illegals currently residing in our nation. For otherwise law-abiding people, they can be offered a path to citizenship. For those who've committed additional crimes to being here illegally, they face prosecution for their crimes and then deportation. 3) Reform the process at the boarder. Have a series of crossing points where people can can cross either way. If immigrating here, the process needs to be simple and efficient. Those not able to be processed on the spot must wait outside the U.S. Once within the U.S. boarders, people should be free to travel at will.

@No Idol Why are "border agents" harassing people instead of being stationed at and patrolling the border? 1. YOUR QUESTION STATES IT'S OWN ANSWER; EXACTLY WHY WHY WE NEED OUR WALL. IF WE HAD OUR WALL; ILLEGALS WOULDN'T ENTER AND NOT " LEAK DEEP " INTO THE UNITED STATES AND OUR BOARDER AGENTS WOULDN'T HAVE TO SO-CALL "HARASS " ANYONE, THAT'S NOT AT THE BOARDER. YOU ASK : Why are the pigs still stealing people's cash with impunity? 2. PRESIDENT TRUMP IS NOW RE-OPENING THE CLINTON PAY TO PLAY FOUNDATION INVESTIGATING CLINTON PAID RUSSIAN DOSSIER, AND CLINTON 500,000 MILLION PAY OFF FOR URANIUM 1 TO RUSSIA. THE PRIVATE HACKED SERVER, etc. TOO MUCH TO LIST. NUT PRESIDENT TRUMP IS WORKING ON IT. Where's the fucking "wall"? 3. DEMOCRATS ARE OBSTRUCTIONIST, IF YOU LISTEN TO THEM THEY DON'T WANT TO FUND OR PAY FOR THE WALL. YET WHEN OBAMA WAS PRESIDENT, THEY WERE ALL FOR IT?. THE NEW SLOGAN NOW IS " FINISH OUR WALL".. THE WALL IS MAKING PROGRESS. Why are we still meddling in the mid-East? 4. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE EAST BECAUSE PRESIDENT TRUMP WAS LEFT A MESS. BUT PUT A STOP TO THE LITTLE BULLSHIT WARS THE DEMOCRAPS FUNDED..( NOTICE ALL THE TERROR ATTACKS STOPPED AFTER TRUMP BECAME PRESIDENT) ? Why are illegals still entering the USA? 5. BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A WALL ! Why is Trump selling weapons to Saudi Arabia? 6. NAME ONE PRESIDENT BEFORE PRESIDENT TRUMP THAT DID NOT SELL WEAPONS ? SECOND IT'S UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY ARE OUR ALLIES. BUT WE NEED THE STABILITY IN THE MIDDLE EAST. YOUR QUESTIONS POINT TO THE OBSTRUCTIONIST WHO STOPS FUNDING OR VOTES !

Because as long as the lights are on, the water is running and there's a mild amount of entertainment, most people will take absurd amounts of tyranny over risking their lives for something better. We are sheep. Societies are usually a whole bunch of sheep and a few wolves. Rarely do the sheep put it all on the line, but even when they win, they eventually become the next wolves themselves. That 'eventually' is the short amounts of times that societies prosper. It's a sad cycle.

@@David-lr2vi Yeah I see that repeated like a mantra. It's still the same cycle I mentioned before. It's garbage, until we reach a point where we stop giving people power over other people. Democracy is corruptible garbage, republics are corruptible garbage. There must be a better way. I doubt humanity will find it, we will always live as slaves to someone else who grabbed power beforehand or die trying to be free from them.
