This might be TMI for the comment section, but here it goes. I have bulimia. I am having a rough morning. I clicked on this video to see what this beautiful, fit woman eats to stay so small. I was expecting a restrictive diet I could start. I was expecting to hear all the foods I can’t eat. And I was shocked. You really struck a nerve with me, in a really good way. I’ve never heard someone talk about food like you do. I’ve had bulimia since high school, and I truly think you flipped a switch in me that should have been flipped 10 years ago. Thank you so much

Hi Cheyenne! I battled with bulimia for several years, so I know how it feels! Once I open my world and learned more and more about my body from a scientific prospect I have found out that food is not the enemy, but the friend. Because of throwing up all the time, I have experienced serious hair loss, my period became irregular, my skin dry and pale, if I injured myself, my body had a hard time recovering or healing. Please, if you are reading this and ever made yourself throw up just so that last meal won’t count for your daily calorie intake, you are doing more damage than good. Please, breathe, take your time and make a plan. A plan that is sustainable. Read about your mineral, vitamin and essential acid needs to function! And then think about if you throw out each meal, how do you treat your body? Instead eat smarter. Eat what your body needs, and you won’t feel the need to throw up💛 If I could do it, after pushing my fingers down my throat years after years I believe everyone can do it! I believe in you, you are amazing, you just have to want to change! Be the best version of yourself, because right now, every time you lean over the toilet, you are taking the opportunity away from yourself to shine! I wish all the best for you and please Promise me that you will try🌸 Sending you tons of positive energy and love💛💛💛💛

1. Reducing calories slowly! Start with ~10% calorie reduction 2. Eat high volume food (veggies) for satiety and micronutrients 3. Increase protein intake to maintain/increase muscle mass 4. You have to eat! Don't starve yourself! 5. No specific type of food should be eliminated from your diet (e.g. no-carb diet, keto) due to unsastainability

L.W. Tomaso check out the natural health bible written by Marilyn Glenville. She is a leader of natural health, supplements and expert in women’s health care. Also have a look at : www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/enjoy-food/carbohydrates-and-diabetes/glycaemic-index-and-diabetes%3famp I cut my weight whilst pregnant. It was unintentional as I had gestational diabetes due to PCOS and being overweight. I lost 8 kilograms just by eating sensible foods and sticking to foods that didn’t raise my blood sugar. Even if you are not terribly overweight, by eating low glycemic food and healthy oils, fatty fish, vitamins and the correct amount of minerals makes a huge amount of difference to hormones and women’s health issues. I wish someone had educated me about this years ago. Can I please ask Krissy, what is the name of the app that you are using with the macros information on? Many thanks 🙏🏻

Very good advice. Absolutely! One cannot sustain a healthy eating lifestyle while starving oneself. I try sticking to healthy eating routine that includes my favorite foods in their most natural healthy form. I eat three times but stop at around 4 (or5)pm. After that it's organic cacao and monk fruit sweetener, blk coffee or herb tea.

yeah, but once you go keto, you don't have to stick to it 100% of the time.. you could do it for a while if you have set a weight goal for yourself.. afterwards you can switch back/forth very easily from ketosis and non-ketosis states.. gives you so much dietary flexibility compared to people who have never done it..

So glad to know that my pre- and post-workout meals don’t have to be so big!! I’m new to lifting and also do cardio at the end of all my lifting sessions (I’m trying to lose weight) and previously I would go to the gym within 1-3 hours of breakfast or lunch (carbs + protein based meals) ...but ever since I nearly fainted last week while doing a kettlebell deadlift (not entirely sure why), I now always try and include some form of carbs + protein based pre-workout meal before each session...but out of fear of a repeat experience, I guess I’ve been having too much, which has usually wound up with me going over my calories for the day before I can even have my 3rd meal or any snacks!! I’m usually not even hungry before or after my workout, as I have 3 square meals a day which fill me up...but I’ve been forcing myself to eat before my workouts for the last week, just in case. 😬 Oh and I ALWAYS have a protein shake made with water post-workout!

Once a year I go to my naturopath and do a 2 week cycle of the hcg injection diet, and I lose about a pound of weight per day on the scale and am SHREDDED by the end. Love it because the diet makes it so you aren't hungry and it also resets me mentally and helps me get back on track with healthy eating and almost feels like a cleanse. Becuase it's such rapid weightloss, it helps me stay motivated and on track, and also the hcg supposedly makes it so you retain your muscle. That's the main reason for the diet.
@zestrus11
@zestrus11 5 жыл бұрын
Also, i don't gain the weight back. I feel like it actually boosts my metabolism and resets it. Only if I start eating a lot for months does the weight slowly start to creep back, but that's my own fault. The rest of the year i eat a balanced healthy diet/lifestyle. I'm 34 years old now so it's becoming a bit harder to maintain my 6 pack.

She is also so right about the cutting all the carbs and your body crashing which isn't sustainable. It's suppose to be a lifestyle change not a temporary thing. I was fed up with having tried and tried so many different diets. I started eating healthily and exercising and saw so much difference and felt much better! you have to make it a healthy lifestyle because you can keep that up! I no longer believe in a diet but a lifestyle. love this. just wondering - how can you be precise enough to cut 10%/~100kcals when you aren't weighing/tracking? :\ most notably during the lunch where nothing is measured. chicken and condiments add up so quickly.

Hi Krissy, Can you give tips on how you tracked your pasta meal ? Like did you just eyeball it with how much pasta, sauce, and cheese there was? I don't mind tracking but I end up doing weird things like cooking pasta in two separate pots (1 portion for me/ 1 portion for my boyfriend) so I know how much I am actually eating (trying to avoid underreporting my intake). Would appreciate any advice! Thanks :)

Blogilates, or fitness blender videos. Perfect for dorm. Maybe pick up some 5lb, 8lb and 10lbs dumbells. I personally suggest also 20lbers for legs but that's me.
