When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from Next Level Diet). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3000 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

@missedmyself Жыл бұрын
@@lawyerlawyer1215 The trick is to do many small meals. Don’t ever starve yourself because your body will feel like it needs to store as much fat as possible and will eat away at your muscles and make you feel lazy.
@lawyerlawyer1215 Жыл бұрын
@@missedmyself tried that in the past. Didn’t worked for me. Tried so many “don’t starve diets” weeks passed by , barely any pounds where lost. My current diet started at 250 pounds I’m currently at 215 , 1 less than 4 days ago when I posted the comment. I check in with my nutritionist every 2 weeks and last Monday , according to her I took my body fat from 35% I started at. To 26% I’m currently at. And managed to gain 6 pounds of muscle , which might not sound like a a freaking lot , but it’s a lot considering I managed to put in 6 pounds of muscle while dieting hard enough to loose 35 pounds. No magic tricks , no wizardry. Just military discipline. I’m not hanging out in bars with anyone and if I do , I order a bottle of water. And that’s it. I do 5 days of gym a week and do muscle training , chest , back ,legs, arms , shoulders and abs. Only 15 min of soft cardio after trainings but that’s it. My training is focused on strength. As for my diet is quite strict. For breakfast: 2 boiled eggs , but with out the yolk. 1 spoon of cottage cheese. 1 bread toast with olive oil over it. And 1 orange. 1 glass of water with 5 grams of flavorless creatine powder and straight to the gym. Nothing in the rest of the morning. And for lunch. Protein either chicken , red meat , salmon or tuna. With half a plate of vegetables. Different ones every day. Tuesdays , Thursdays and Saturdays I add 100 grams of rice to that. Monday , Wednesday, Friday and Sunday it’s just the protein and the vegetables. Nothing in the afternoon, and no dinner. Fasting from lunch to the next breakfast Yes it’s hard , but it’s the first diet that’s it’s finally working. I’m 6’4 ft so according to my nutritionist I’m only 2% away from a healthy body fat for my height although I do want to go under 20% But in looking pretty good already. I’m not saying my diet is the “one” diet I’m saying not everything works for everyone. This slow loose a pound every 2 weeks diets never worked for me.

I have always eaten 'just enough' thinking it would be sufficient. My first real diet plan taught me the lesson. when Chris retires after winning how many olympias, Mr. O Classic physique should give Bumstead statue trophy to the winner so that winner realizes that he is actually second to that statue.

Always gonna be a bigger fish. He the goat now, but the best part about the sport is that it always evolves. So do the people. And im sure Cbum knows that, and knows thats why he's in this position.
@highviewbarbell3 жыл бұрын
@@soulie2001 idk about "bigger" fish, he's got once in a lifetime genetics at his height. someone may come with better insertions somewhere and better conditioning, but idk about any winners actually looking physically bigger. Like how Arnold was the tallest Mr O and since then every open winner has been a lot shorter
@soulie20013 жыл бұрын
@@highviewbarbell not necessarily bigger, as in size, but someone who rules the sport more. Regardless, alot of these guys come in and who knows, maybe there will be a better man. Im rooting for Cbum but thats the beauty of sports. Techniques and strategies are refined every day. New players enter the game. Its a colosseum out there.

If you're concerned about breaking the yolk when making over-easy eggs, just cook them sunny side up and cover the pan for a minute when they're almost finished cooking. Add a couple drops of water to create some steam if necessary.

Try intermittent fasting where you consume all your foods in a smaller window to keep you satisfied then fast for 16-18 hours and eventually your body will get used to it

Dont wish, just do. Greatness goes to those who detach on what isn’t important, prioritize on the true goal and execute on the needed plan/journey. Getting up each day with purpose will enhance your mindset and overall performance on life.

Compliment from Syndicate: It is incomprehensible how charismatic a person can be. I have been thinking about being a fan who follows your production of videos and makes purchases of your products. Keep up the good work of informing and using your body as an example of what a healthy look is. With best regards. 😺
