Carnivore is so simple. I was on "low carb" for 5 years which was better then the standard American diet, it got my blood pressure back to normal. Then I decided to go with "nutritional keto" with a lot of veggies fruits nuts and seeds. About 8 weeks into keto I got a rash and I have never had a rash before, it kind of freaked me out. Instead of going back to low carb to get rid of the rash; I went Carnivore. The rash went away in a couple of days and I am 7 weeks in carnivore now. I am in no rush to bring any plant food back into my diet. The Carnivore diet is great. People who have never been in Ketosis do not know what they are missing. The Carnivore diet gives me better digestion, no bloating or gas, better cognitive function, the best sleep I have had in decades, no cravings for sweets and I am a lot more calm, things that used to set me off, they just don't bother me anymore. Its amazing!!!

Thanks for sharing that. I've been super strict keto without a bite I shouldn't for 46 days. I'm considering trying a week carnivore to see how I feel. I'm having trouble not overeating at night and I see to just overeat on veggies because I love them so much. Tonight was shaved fries Brussels Sprouts with 2 duck eggs and salmon on top. It was so good I ate it all which was twice what I should. Maybe just protein would calm that.

Tammie Hammett When I started Carnivore I ate 3 meals a day. That soon changed to 2 meals a day because I just wasn’t hungry. I think this diet has kind of re-set my metabolism, I just don’t think about food the way I used to, it no longer holds my interest I guess.

Healthy organic eggs: 2 teaspoons of butter, hot pan to melt it, then change heat to lowest possible, put the eggs, cover the pan, let them at lowest heat for a few min. Then they are cooked both sides without burning, but the yolks are still soft. No vegetable oils, man made oils, inflamatory, polyunsaturated, omega 6. Grass fed butter - kerry gold.

Juice I’m the opposite. If I don’t eat veggies, I get super constipated. I think your genetic heritage plays a role in what works for your body. I think the ‘one diet fits all’ mentality is dangerous whether veganism or carnivore. Eat whatever works for you. We all have different needs.
@timstinson1019
@timstinson1019 5 жыл бұрын
@@celestes.7187 it's just a matter of letting your body readjust, it takes time maybe a week as many as 6 weeks, your gut bio doesn't switch overnight. I went through a keto flu for 36 hours my body purged non cooperative gut bio out, but it takes time to grow what you require. I tried spinach salads for three days and had a such bad inflation reaction I had to discontinue because it hurt to walk, plenty of carnivore ways to get my iron and magnesium. Too many oxalates in plants to consider them helpful, they are fighting for their survival and will win if you let them.
@celestes.7187
@celestes.7187 5 жыл бұрын
Tim Stinson when I eat a lot of meat, I feel my body temperature go up, I start to sweat more and my skin becomes more oily. I think a balanced diet is best in the long term. Imagine going back and forth from Keto carnivore to non Keto.. those swings will take a toll on your health. Better to pick something easy to stick to long term. Cooking vegetables helps make them more digestible and counteracts bloating. Also, grains should be soaked before cooking. Add in a little fruit, fermented foods and intermittent fasting and you have a diet for life. :) I doubt if anyone can really stick to a Keto carnivore diet for say 10 years and not be absolutely craving for vegetables and fruit. Lol.

Red October Mongolians and Inuits have adapted over generations to an environment where there is little vegetation to eat. Okinawans and people in the mediterranean however, live the longest and their diet is mostly plant based with red meat being the food consumed the least. They probably live a third longer than Mongolians or Inuits. but hey.. we’re all meant to be carnivores amirite? I know what works for me. Mostly fish, poultry, vegetables, fruit, no grains, root veggies. I trust how I feel way more than I trust you.

@@tamarap387 Well, it sounds like to me that some women (and I would think me too) have a change in hormones on keto. Not sure why. And I don't know why the difference for yourself versus being on a carnivore diet. I'm really curious why that is. I had a friend/healthcare practitioner discourage me from doing keto because she felt it will ruin my hormones. I'm sure she knows of a female who has had that experience. Thanks for the video and information! There's a saying that goes: pay me now or pay me later. I think it might apply to our health. We can pay more now for solid good food and feel much better as we age! Or, we can cheap-out now and pay later in the form of lost work time, lost time with loved ones, lots more aches and pains, more $ for meds/pills … idk how much one of the motorized scooters cost when you can't carry yourself around anymore. It's a pretty accurate truism: You get what you pay for.

This carnivore keto whatever (sorry i'm new) seems like a decent option if I can afford it (current budget for groceries is like $25/wk so that's tough). 'Grats on the progress, keep it up🙌

I've yet to go full carnivore. I still eat some veggies, and I eat a small portion of mixed rasp berries, black berries, and maybe some strawberries. I also eat a little bit of squash or spinach or something. Most of my nutrition is coming from organs, skeletal muscle, eggs, and I use grass fed Amish butter that I buy from a local source. and I get a 2lb brick of it for very cheap, local is the way to go. I also use some tallow to cook my meat or I grill it and melt the butter on top. I also use some Celtic sea salt for seasoning, and sometimes just a little garlic. Once I started eating like this I've felt better than I have in my entire life. Energy and motivation is through the roof

I agree that eating carnivore or animal based is very simple! I think it's liberating not having to spend so much time going to the grocery store to pick so many different foods, then having to plan meals, chop so many veggies, use many pans to create a dish, etc. I eat the same things pretty often and never get tired of it because it taste so good to me! I order 1/4 grass fed cow twice a year and it's delivered to my place. I save time because I have all I need in my freezer for months and save money by buying directly from a local farm. My boyfriend is eating a more "regular" diet and feels "sorry" for me because I eat the same things over and over again.... but I feel sorry for him because he has to spend so much time prepping his meals and is always looking for new recipes because he gets bored with food.

Love the way your video is so calm and good quality. Vegan "what I eat in a day" videos are cringe and overwhelming and make me stressed even when watching critiques. Carnivores have more centered minds. And about the food, nothing could be more easier. Not a million ingredients from all around the world! I want more videos like this. Carnivore in a budge could be nice, but a carnivore eating out would be good too. I have a question. As you live in Australia is it true that meat is mostly grass fed and grain finished? In Japan almost all meat is from Australia, New Zealand and USA. Japanese meat is insanely expensive and grain fed, usually. Only milk cows are allowed to graze. Thanks.

You're skin is quite glowy on animal based. ;) I'm on plant based at the moment but since I'm a body hacker (experiment for optimal health) and I'm not restricted by dogma, I tend go back to animals product when I need some kind of healing. And I have a slight injury at the moment and the universe brought me to your channel today, ironically after watching vegan stuff all day yesterday. I don't ignore the signs, so bone marrow, and bone broth (which I've been craving) it is today! Thanks! :) By the way you want the cat to love you even more bring in some beef kidney. I hate it, but cats go bezerk for it. They can smell it long before you pull it out.

I'm sure someone else has probably suggested this already, but a pressure cooker would cook that Osso buco in an hour instead of 8+ in the slow cooker, but with the same super tender results. That made my mouth water just thinking about it. Might bee time for a pot roast 🥩

You should try Ox or Beef Heart, it's absolutely budget friendly, and it's really good. The ox heart is enormous, there's a ton of fat on it, so I'll keep the thinnest heart wall for searing like a steak, and the rest I cut into pieces to stew in the slow cooker. I really like Ox Tail as well, that's delicious in the slow cooker. Brisket too, and there's a lot of fat in it. PS: talk to your neighbour, I think you should keep the cat if he keeps spending all his time with you!!

Is it causing constipation or do you just have to go less often? When you eat fiber, it is indigestible but still has to go through your whole system. It's what causing bulk in your stools. Less/no fiber = less frequent + smaller bowel movements.
