Yum, this is wonderful! Tip for getting onion, garlic, shallot smell from your hands is to rub your hands on something made from stainless steel as you are washing. If you faucet to the sink is stainless , or the sink itself, anything, they actually sell little blocks of it in the chef type stores, it works like magic!

Hello from the UK. Your gorgeous children remind me of mine when they were young. I am whole food plant based and to prevent too much weight loss I eat a large proportion of starchy vegetables at every meal, usually potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice and beans. Take care and good luck with your channel.

Also, I have to say I started eating non starchy vegetables for breakfast instead of oatmeal or porridge and it is making a difference in my sweet tooth cravings. I also have been vegan for quite some time and I have been gaining weight stead of loosing it. But now I am starting to put in practice what you guys are preaching...thank you 💗

Just found your channel and I’m obsessed with you and your videos and your little family! I just started a weight loss journey, I’ve been vegan for 5 years but have struggled with yo yo dieting and most recently have lived off processed vegan junk and sweets. I’m so excited to start on this journey eating these types of foods, I’ve always loved eating this way and forget how easy and delicious it is, I work at Whole Foods here in the US as a cake decorator so it’s been hard to not crave vegan alternatives of all the non vegan pastries I stare at all day 😅 but I’m so tired of living this way, I have about 40 lbs I want to lose. My skin is a mess right now from the sugar and fat and I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been, but your videos and energy are so lovely and inspiring. So thank you, I can’t wait to watch more, and also to watch your channel grow! ❤️❤️ Love from Boston!

I love your channel! ❤️ (Here thanks to High Carb Hannah.) Following your IG and podcast, now, as well. *To eliminate garlic/onion odor on hands: rub wet hands really thoroughly on anything made of stainless steel (sink/faucet/spoon- I’ve even carefully used the flat of my chef’s knife) and it’ll take the stinkiness right away. I generally lather my hands with soap and rub them on the side of my steel sink. 🧄

Just binge watching your channel (yet again) and had to pause the video so I could comment without missing anything 😁 Even though this is a year ago and you probably already know this, I'm still going to give you what works for me when I'm working with raw onions and garlic and need to get the stink off my hands: I wet my hands, rub them along the faucet spout as the steel will remove the smell. The Hubs went out and bought me a stainless steel 'soap bar' (totally not necessary) and I STILL use the tap. Force of habit I guess 🤷♀️ Anyhoo, it works for me every time.
