@@ursgetsfit great meal plan mostly low carb, have you experienced any fatigue or weakness initially?
@ursgetsfit19 күн бұрын
@@MsCharlene87 it takes time to adjust to it if you’re coming off an extremely high carb diet but if you follow it for a couple of weeks straight you’ll certainly lose weight. I’ve been experimenting with carb cycling lately, which pairs this lower carb plan with a higher carb plan a few days a week. I’ll show the higher carb day in another video.

Thanks for sharing this! I’m not the biggest fan of protein shakes/supplements so I LOVE seeing how other people hit their protein goals with whole food. Also, I had no idea about the amount of protein in broccoli or pumpkin seeds. Thanks again for sharing!

Thank you for the feedback! 👊🏽 I like shakes because they’re a quick source of protein but I wanted to show a high protein diet can be accomplished without them. Glad it was helpful.

This video is very helpful! I been wondering what all I can eat and not use protein shakes or powder! I’m trying to start a health journey as well! So thank you!

Thank you for this! I actually pulled out my buried scale and weighed my food. I was able to have more chicken than Ive been eyeballing. Almost didnt finish but did becz i often wake up in the middle of the night hungry or find myself snacking late at night. I restarting my journey with chronic pain and need to work on the scale from a different angle. PS I love making my own shakes w a frozen fruit. Guess i need to measure that too.😊

Yes measure everything. The food scale is your friend. The body scale not so much. 😅 That’s the scale I hide in the linen closet.

@ursgetsfit switched my breakfast plan from a shake to a turkey burger on a slice of wheat. I preprogrammed my anticipated meals into MFP - having not used it in years. While healthy too many carbs in my shake. Now I have a chance to adjust. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm back with a question and hoping for feedback. My fitbit is connected to MFP. My calorie goal and macros are now higher than my original goal. How do you keep the tracker from visually influencing your progress? Id like to see my fitness activity but do folks disconnect the tracker during this process? Thank you
@ursgetsfit15 күн бұрын
I don’t have a watch connected to MFP. It does give me a step count I think based on my phone movement but I don’t use it and I have the option to add back my activity calories turned off. You could always disconnect your Fitbit and manually enter your activity/steps but that’s my best guess. Maybe someone else has a better idea.

I love this channel, and I appreciate you sharing. Question: (asked from a genuine place no malice) I've yoyoed for years at one point lost 90 lbs and wanted to know if you think you can sustain long-term weight loss? And if you didn't have the sleeve, do you think you'd be where you are. I KNOW surgery was a tool, and meds are tools, but I'm curious if you think I can lose and keep off 100 lbs sustainability without help. I appreciate your thoughts.
@ursgetsfit16 күн бұрын
I think that's a fair question. I've lost weight several times and have gained it back, even with the sleeve so to me it comes down to discipline and sustaining good habits. I can outeat the sleeve simply by eating the wrong foods and eating all day, and I've habitually done both in the past and went from 163lbs to 225lbs. You will hear stories of people that can't lose weight on the meds because they haven't changed their eating habits. So yes, I think if you stick with eating right and an exercise routine you can lose it and keep it off. The tools will give you a running start but their benefits eventually wear subside and it's then on you to maintain it.

I love my premier protein shakes 😂...but this was a very good and realistic meal plan. Thanks so much for sharing. Please continue to do what I eat in a day videos! 🙏

Thank you for the feedback. 💙 I usually start my day with a Premier because it’s easy protein and convenient. Someone asked me if a high protein diet could be followed if they can’t drink shakes so I wanted to demonstrate it can be done.
