I loved this video! It is nice to see videos of Vegans that live in colder weather. I can't do smoothies and things like that in the winter. I am in MN and I freeze all winter long and all I want is warm food and tea.
@EatMoveRest6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's nice to be able to eat good hearty stew and cooked foods at dinnertime to stay warm! We're so glad you enjoyed the video!

Me too! I live in northern Vermont, but I do make smoothies most days for my husband and myself. I use mostly frozen fruits since the only fruits I can get are bananas, apples and oranges.
@SuperCandyjunkie6 жыл бұрын
I use frozen ones too but drinking a smoothie when it is cold just makes me colder!!

I would love to find a mushroom 🍄like that! Today I made a mushroom & barley soup from Dr. Furhman’s book “Eat to Live”. The soup was so savory, my favorite now. I heard that eating just one cooked mushroom a day can reduce your chances of cancer by 69%.

We’ve heard that too! Amazing!!

When is the next farmer's market scheduled for? It's a couple hours from me, but looks like it would be a fun road trip. Especially since our local Bountiful Baskets hasn't had a route in the area in almost 2 years.

There were just 3 holiday harvest markets, so now there won’t be anymore until regular farmers market season this spring. You could come get some cases of produce from Open Harvest though! You just have to call in advance and place your order!

EatMoveRest I’ve been vegetarian for about 2 weeks now. Planning to transition to a fully vegan diet in the new year. However, vegetarian / vegan doesn’t necessarily mean healthy as potato chips are still vegan! I need to bring in the plant-based element into my diet!
