Hi Caitlin! I love this squash also, a kind of essential for Chinese family during winter! You should try to cook it directly in water instead of frying, it will taste sweeter and creamier, so goood with rice ! Like a purée 😋 Btw, I love your recipes !

Tempeh was on sale at my local grocery today so I decided to buy it for the first time. I had bought tofu once before and had no idea what to do with it and ended up letting it go to waste. I have been watching your videos for quite a while and I remembered you had a recipe for tempeh that looked delicious! I ended up clicking on this video because I saw the tempeh in the thumbnail. I clicked on your link in the description and after reading through the recipe I decided to try your Smoky Tempeh recipe that you had linked on the page. That sauce was to die for! I didn't have any liquid smoke so I left that out, but the maple syrup created a glaze on the tempeh and it was phenomenal! I kept trying to get everyone in my house to sample it. I've been vegan for close to a year but no one else around me is vegan so I enjoy showing them how delicious vegan food can be. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe. I put the smoky tempeh on top of a salad veggie bowl and I massaged the greens with a a small amount of a balsamic vinegar and maple syrup dressing to incorporate similar flavors into the whole dish. I always look forward to your videos and I love your content! Thank you for doing what you do.

This is kinda random, but I really loved the voiceover style in this video!!! I think a lot of recipe voiceovers (not necessarily yours, but just in general) can be too loud or too fast so I really appreciated the the slow whisper-y tone in this video. It was super calming! And the recipes look delicious as usual! xx

Hey Caitlin I'm not a vegan I just stumbled on your channel after one too many cooking videos. I was just curious at first but gradually I appreciated how much effort, love and care you put into a bowl and how this lifestyle is actually better for the planet. Your work ethic is bomb. Best part of it all is I got to know someone like you who is genuine and kind who promotes good health. Anyway new fan here, you inspire me to prep my meals again and start loving life.

Better they break up with you rather than convince you you're the greatest thing in their life, just to provide you with a false sense of security so they can cheat on you behind your back. Of course I don't know your circumstances I can only hope they weren't as bad, but I've been done with that part of life for about 5 months now & it wasn't always easy coming out of it (of course the good times were great).. But now I'm happier than I've ever been, focused on myself and grew as a result of what I wanted to see out of life. You're gonna be with beautiful people, go to insanely beautiful places, and you always loved cooking but now look you're a fckin vegan & maybe falling in love with life now say what?? Just do yourself a favor and do it with a clear conscience, don't hold regrets towards the past for the sake of what you learned and understand what was cherishable when when it was good. If you're like me maybe even come to terms with when it wasn't good anymore and think about when to make better decisions for yourself (vs a concept of "us" with anyone)... Learn to love yourself and don't lose your momentum, don't give your ex the benefit of occupying a single thought in your head bc u kno u rly r 2 good fo dat. And yeah keep eating good food bc you'll literally never get sick.

Madison Armstrong that's not true, actually. It's a common misconception because a lot of people call orange sweet potatoes yams, but they're not! We don't have yams in America at all, they're a totally different and much larger plant.
