In this video, join me on a journey through my day as I show you what I eat from morning to night. From healthy breakfast options to satisfying dinner choices, get inspiration and ideas for your own meals. Watch till the end to see how I balance nutrition and delicious flavors in a typical day of eating! I don’t count macros, never have but I am very mindful of ensuring that I have a well balanced array of foods. Healthy fats are a must, lots of fresh fruit and veggies and lean protein. Don’t neglect to indulge yourself in tastes, textures and favourites that you love, like me with my chips!

Pork Tenderloin Recipe:
Remove any tough silver skin on your tenderloin
Marinade:
1 tsp minced ginger
1 or 2 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
1 tsp hot sauce
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 green onion chopped
Mix everything together in a ziplock bag and marinade for however long you have!
Grill on the BBQ to desired doneness. Boil the sauce on the stove to serve on the side. Garnish with parsley/more green onion
If you don’t have a grill you can enjoy this in the oven. You can sear the tenderloin on a grill pan first, cover with the sauce and bake at 375* for about 20 minutes or until desired doneness.
For the veggies I used the same marinade without the last 3 ingredients. Skip the hoisin, soy sauce and chopped green onion. Pour over your veggies and grill.
I love washing and poking the sweet potatoes and then microwaving them for 1 1/2 min then turning over for another 1 1/2 minutes, until fork tender. Slice into thicker rounds and grill. This speeds up the process big time!

Chips! I tend to go for Potato Chips in Avocado Oil - Yay Costco has them now! For dip - Greek Yogurt with Mint/Salt/Pepper. The flowers out front are beautiful! Love the gems :)

Honestly depends on the day or time of month in the chocolate vs. chips. I think it would definitely be chocolate for the most part for me. I enjoy a piece of dark chocolate daily, but there are definitely days I would prefer the chips!

Those protein wraps i got 9 packs of them for $1 each at walmart on clearance all because someone spilled hot sauce on them lmao i just wiped down the packs and they're new and expire way way later. I froze 8 bags of them and ima make wraps out of the non frozen one tomorrow

I've gone very lazy with my diet, I'm done with chicken breast and steaks I just use 2 different ground meats & make a Burrito Bowl / Stir Fry or fried rice. Then use the other in a tomato sauce based meal Spaghetti Bolognese / Chilli con Carnie / Keema Curry / moussaka or pasta Bake. I have those with my oats & Parfait & Shake

chocolate bar!! I couldn't care less about chips or salty snacks. I am literally that person who could "eat just one" chip and be done. But chocolate chips---no way! I was wondering if you could do a day of eating that was plant based/vegan-I'm just curious if you could reach your protein/macro goals because I find it very challenging!

Hi Nancy!! It’s so interesting to me that you do the opposite of what the “experts “ say we ( menopausal women) should be doing and look fabulous!! I have been binge watching all this info on insta and KZbin, they all say we should lift extremely heavy 5-6 rep range ( Dr Stacy Sims) cut back on longer cardio and instead focus on HIIT or better SIT. Here you are in your 60’s ( I’m 59) and doing orange theary most days which correct me if I’m wrong is basically 1hr long cardio sessions and looking amazing! I get so confused, any thoughts on all this info out there, do you listen to any of these experts and think they are wrong? Do experience body aches, I’m lifting heavier but feeling bulky and sore. I’m so confused don’t know if I should go right, left, straight or turn around and go back 😂😂😂😥😍

Hi Gabby, thanks so much for your comment. There’s a lot of info out there!! I can hear your frustration which tells me that you’re experiencing some concern with how you’re feeling and are looking for remedies/answers. Your comment is so timely as I’m just filming a video about great workouts that I don’t do and lifting really heavy is one of them! For me, weight training is vital and I consistently implement it into my routines. OT does in fact have 50% of the class devoted to strength training though it is often not enough for me and I supplement at home. I typically go for weights that I can do 8-10 reps for 3 sets. I can see the logic/science behind the heavier weights and for many (maybe you?) this may be perfect. For me, I am concerned with injury, I am happy with my body composition and level of muscle and I feel great. Who knows if in the future I may feel that I need to build up more. I just had a bone density test and I was in the highest range for my age group. I must admit that I haven’t followed the experts mainly because I’ve not felt lacking nor looking for change. If you’re that sore, perhaps cut back to fewer sessions but mainly remember that you should feel good and it has to be enjoyable! Keep playing around and see what makes you happy and works for your body. There’s no one size fits all approach! Best to you xo

I’ve been trying the heavy with 5-6 reps I’m afraid of injuries and actually feel bulky. I’m going back to what I use to do. Look forward to your video! By the way I’m also Canadian, from Montreal. @@MamaTenny I've heard that crispy bacon vs limp is best so you are not alone there. I think if I liked bakon I wouldn't want it squishy-limp either. My treat is plain coconut yoghurt. I LOVE the stuff. 😃❤️
