Have you ever thought, boy, if I could just lose 30 pounds, I’d be so happy? Perhaps you’ve lost weight but now the struggle is real as you try desperately to maintain the weight loss. I have been the same weight for my entire adult life (minus a few pregnancies along the way) and yet I don’t diet. I have a wonderfully positive outlook on life (most days!) and am truly happy both personally with my friends, family and relationship as well as professionally. Don’t get me wrong, everything is not perfect all the time! That would be impossible!
Hey, crap happens in all of our lives, and there’s no happiness guarantee, but if you are generally in a good mindset, you can better cope when the going gets tough as well as live your daily life with a little more spring in your step.
On the food side of things, I really have a hearty appetite! I do eat anything I want, it’s all a balancing act. I show you exactly what I do at every meal, you are the boss, pick and choose and make the meal work for you!
These 7 habits are not actions I set out to follow, rather, these are things that I identified in myself that work for me. I think some or all may work for you!

One of the best bit of advice I got on nutrition came from Will. He said instead of having a calorie budget each day have a weekly one, as fitness isn't a daily thing it's a weekly monthly yearly thing. I did modify it slightly so I would go max 500 above my maintenance calories in one day

Thank you Lynn! I’m not a macro counter either! After a while you can just look at your meal and see that it’s balanced. The key is you have to be honest with yourself! No swapping fruit and yogurt for a slab of cheesecake!😂

As soon as I get up I make my bed, I socialize all day for my job, I just want to get home and be quiet. But I would definitely go say hello if I seen you!❤ I was down on finch for an eye appointment, I had my eyes open for you lol

After watching this video I put in my walking tape and walked 2 miles I will be doing this everyday . When the weather gets better my husband and I walk outside. I get so lazy in the winter. You said your weight is about 110lbs how tall are you? Love your videos!

Sounds perfect! I actually love walking in the winter too, I am the bundle up queen! I put on my snow pants and I have rechargeable heated mitts and a vest! Victoria says I look like a kid going out for recess😂 And @michaelagarcia4533 is correct, I’m 5’5”. Thx Michael!

One thing I’ve learned about maintaining body weight is that it’s a lot of work… harder than the journey. I’m pretty happy now but I wonder if I can keep up over the decades. Counting on the many changes have become and stay habit.

deff. agree with the social aspect, social media seemingly only created more isolation (I don't use social media and seeing its impact, i'm glad i skipped that trend).... last time i checked light beer was the same as water lol... and deff. agree with the last point too, to many couch potatoes

Hi there, thanks for your comment! I just can’t count calories either! I typically have 3 meals a day and 1 snack. My snack time is usually in the later afternoon as we have dinner around 7. I don’t find that I’m hungry for anything else but I will definitely have a little something if we’re going out for a later dinner and I’m really feeling it! Just something small like a scoop of Greek yogurt or a couple of slices of cooked turkey breast so I’m not starving! If your meals are balanced with protein and fat and complex carbs it should sustain you till your next one. Best to you!❤️

As I get older I don't like heavy meals. I would cut my burger in 1/2 lose the mayo, add pickles, eat 1/2 the fries so I don't need a nap😂 gravy on the side. Um yup my Mother in law, and sister in law want us to meet up for lunch Saturday😂 no salads at that restaurant but amazing burgers! Just when I started a clean eating kick, to be fit by April. Lol would a chicken wrap be better? They offer that.

Oh Margaret, you sound like you’ve got it all figured out! So on track 👏🏼If you’re only having 1/2 the burger (maybe they have chicken or turkey burger?) probably not too different to the wrap. They always hide the pesky sauces in those! Have a few fries and ditch the gravy. You’ve still got to live and be happy. Plus, you don’t want grief from the MIL😂 Some of the wraps are more cals than the bun. Glad you’re not a mayo freak-that’s a killer. Enjoy yourself, protein and some fat from the burger is A-OK😘

@MamaTenny sounds good burger it is lol. Never thought about the sauces in the wrap. Thankyou! Update: I ended up asking for a tomato and extra lettuce on my burger no sauces. Gravy on the side. When I got it, I took the tomato and lettuce, made a salad, took the burger off. Had fries, just added a tsp. of gravy on the burger. Never ate the bun. My fam looked at me like🤔 I said what?! Salisbury steak and salad. All they said was smart! Yum. Lol
