I think its also important to note that if you are undereating and have a history of or still struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating, properly fueling your body can immensely improve your digestion. Often you also see intolerances disappear after recovery/proper nutrition.

I’m in my “no digestive problems journey” right now too as a vegan . It runs in my family sadly. Intermittent fasting is helping, having only 3 meals per day too, no snacking, apple cider vinegar, walking… I had to journal my food for 1 year to see what is bad for me. So far so good. Trying to hit 100 gr of protein per day 😅

I legit stopped snacking back in the day bc I have a really sweet tooth and so my snacks were usually sweets, and I knew that it was really not good for me. Recently I went on a holiday and didn't pay much attention to my "rules" and since that it's been kinda hard to get back on track. I try to make myself remember that I was feeling myself SO WELL when I was not snacking at all and I guessed that it had something to do with bloating but damn actually hearing about that in your video??? Yes sweet potatoes! And butternut squash. I can’t say enough about it. I can actually feel butternut squash easing my tummy issues. I can’t eat white potatoes without misery but sweet potatoes are heavenly. Pumpkin has been shown to help heal stomach ulcers as well as aid in digestion. My allergist and my gastroenterologist are firmly against the "intolerance tests" because they have not been researched enough and not backed by science. They said that these tests react to what you're used to consume and do not really show intolerance.

As someone who has suffered greatly with bloating, and now have no issues at all, I completely disagree with this nutritional approach. This to me is surface level and what you "want to believe works", but I really encourage deeper research than just low FODMAPS. This is probably not what people want to hear, but I find the best approach is: Not high fiber, not heigh protein, especially not protein powders, egg whites, not probiotics. No raw vegetables. Absolutely no vegetable oils. Those are all very upsetting to digestion and cause bloating. Like I said, not what people want to hear. I do suggest: Low fiber, moderate protein from whole sources, butter versus oils, whole milk dairy, more simple meals without a ton of ingredients. It works. I don't mean for this to come of badly at all. Perhaps you will have a different experience. I hope anyone with this issue can truly fix it as I have done.
