Freesia, I just want to put it out here how much you've been an inspiration for me. I think I discovered you on August and on that time I was falling deep down in depression because of quarantine and how my parents are so strict with me. But on Monday like just this week, I finally planted my feet on the ground and stood up against my parents and moved out to start looking for work and to basically just start living my life. Living with Asian parents are sometimes difficult because it is our tradition to be family oriented and it seemed like my parents just wanted to have me around all the time. I am absolutely privileged, my parents always try to give everything to me and I don't want to seem ungrateful but man I'm 23 years old and I don't even know how to withdraw from an ATM. Something so simple but a crucial lesson in life was never taught to me because my parents just want to take care of it for me. Although to others they look at my situation as something they'd want to be in but I've felt like a paralyzed fish not being able to experience life fully. That's why when you said "I don't believe in waiting for the right time to do things" that really hit so fucking hard for me. And man, you were a part of my journey. You may just making vlogs but know that you are impacting people out there like me to have more courage and confidence in ourselves. You are a strong and independent woman and just watching your vlogs has helped me so much to have hope that someday I can be like you. I don't mean like exactly like you but being able to be free and do things because it's your choice. A friend once asked me "You want to work? You think working is freedom?" and I answered him saying "Yes because it's my choice". Cheers, Freesia. Thank you for putting yourself out there. You never know, you're helping a fragile, weak, and low self-esteem girl out there in the internet to have courage, strength, and faith in their self. You were a part of my journey silently so I really THANK YOU. :) please continue to make more videos, I'd love to follow you all the way until you reach your dreams.

Something I've learned this year is to know where I'm wanted, in my case seeing who's willing to work together in a friendship. Know where I stand with people I wanted years for them to notice me. Know where I want to use my energy in, what things are actually worth thinking about. Lots of learning about value, and gratitude for those who care for me 🧡

The year 2020 has been the slowest yet fastest year. Although I am guilty of feeling suffocated when the pandemic and lockdowns first started, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on myself and my surroundings. I’ve also realized that I should be happy with what I currently have like being able to be with family and being healthy. Happy New Years everyone & I hope everyone has a great fresh start in 2021 💕

In 2020, I learned that I should accept what is instead of focusing on what should be. It honestly made my life more solution oriented and by just accepting what is and what I had in my life, I realized how grateful I was for everything :)

I've learned to prioritize my health, both mind and body. Since covid had hit, this year was definitely an opportunity to adopt better eating habits and exercise. Also, reading books on self-improvement and being more intentional about my environment.

before the pandemic, i would be sad being alone but now i love taking myself out to explore places and do things by myself. This year taught me that i don't need anyone to make me happy.

I would say 2020 has been the greatest year that I've ever been. Last year, I was a freshman in college but i was too stressed dealing with friendships and jealousy even though i got into school that i had ever wanted to. I tried to fit in and, I would put a lot of unnecessary energy in adjusting to the group. And since I don't interact with those people, I could spent time on studying, working out, and self-reflection. (Plus, your video and Ester's podcast helped me a lot too!) Thanks for sharing your ideas, Freesia :)

I personally believe that all you had said on lessons can be resumed with: GROWTH. You have grown a lot this year, as someone a few years older, i can tell you that this year will be forever in your memory. Growing and maturing is fabulous. Changing all together is magical. One day many moons far you'll look behind and you'll say "I am so happy i went thorough it". This year, I learned to be in the moment and not second guess my thoughts. The freedom one is so important and difficult but worthwhile 🙌 This year has been such a blessing for me. I was fortune enough to be at a company that went full remote. I was able to take that opportunity to live in another state, Colorado!, for a couple months by myself. It also made me pick up cooking more, reading books, and disconnect from social media. I hope to take full advantage of the situation again next year hoping to do more to move my life forward with the given opportunity. Happy new year!

I’ve learned this year that having true leaders in your workplace is crucial, really holds the team together especially while we were /all working from home. I’ve learned to really rethink who were my mentors and what amazing work they put in (which I didn’t know at the time) to really see you win personally and professionally.

I think I’m 2020 I gained a lot of perspective of who I am. I had the time to really observe myself from a 3rd person perspective, and I was able to see my flaws. Therefore I think 2021 will be about working on myself more!

In my past life, I would be partying every Friday and Saturday and getting turnt. It was unsustainable, and I can see myself going into a downward spiral. Every week I would tell myself to stop and this wasn't sustainable. The pandemic has forced me to break the habit of constant partying and letting my body heal. Now, I hardly ever crave alcohol or weed and I realize it was mostly social and a way to escape from every day pressures.
