I've just found this channel, super impressed by your work here and on the website. Keep it up! My daily drivers are the Uni-ball Air, Stabilo Bl@ck+ Medium (which i believe it's almost identical to the Worker), they are both smooth and fast, i do like their ink, but they smear a little being left handed, and yesterday the Schneider One Change arrived so i'll start using that too. As for the colored pens i went cheap with the Osama OBG (lesser known smaller italian brand, it started many years ago here as a distributor for Mitsubishi pencil and Zebra).

The Orenz Nero in the smaller led sizes (0.2 and 0.3) is supposed to be used with the lead flush with the sliding sleeve so it doesn't break. The end of the sleeve is polished so it won't scratch on the paper. When the sleeve gets too short for your use or preference, you click it *once* so the lead stays inside. Come to think of it, the Nero (as opposed to the regular Orenz) auto advances the lead every time you lift it off the paper, so you don't have to click at all.

Yes, I just accidentally press the button from time to time. Also, the 0.3mm tears into a lot of the paper I use, I guess I'm just pushing too hard. Lesson learned.

Anyone tried writing with lamy rollerball pen with gel refills? I used some tape on the top to create that little extra lenght and it writes very nicely

Yeah I've recently replaced the m63 in mine with a fine tip energel refill. Something about the m63 leads to it always skipping with my writing style. The energel is flawless though and has made me pick up the Lamy a lot more lately

@@user-gl5ld9vm7i very nice. That's a top notch refill. Though anything is better than the m63, it's inexcusable how bad that thing is and it's $13 in Aus vs $1.88 for the Energel. Easy choice

I recently got the Orenznero in 0.5mm and think it's pretty solid. If 0.5mm is your graphite of choice I think you'll enjoy that variety of the Orenz.

Neat selection. That loosey-goosey clip looks like a hard pass to me. The Nano is interesting. I've actually come to like brown inks. Energel's brown remain's my favorite. BTW, you just inspired me to try the PointVisco.

you should try the tombow mono graph lite in 0.38! it's a ballpoint with a needle point. the tip is very small considering it's a ballpoint but the ink flow is very nice!

Hey, I've seen you write with the Stabilo Worker+ aswell. They both are marketed here in Germany as "Tintenroller", which AFAIK means roller ball in English. Would you say they are similar?

It's weird. To me this feels like a gel while that Worker+ is more like a rollerball, but they call it a kugelschreiber (ballpoint) so who knows. They are all really good. The Bionic too!

The Pentel Calme 0.7 single colour edition is altogether a much better than the multi pen and a good contender against the Zebra Blen ( for the single edition ) if you are to review it, you should wait for some experience with the single edition first before making a judgement. Its also a new refill that happen to be of the same form factor as the old de facto standard skinny ballpoint refill used in so so many other ball point, its nice to know we can now up to date ink in a refill that we can just put into those old old ballpoint
