It's been a few years since I've seen it but from what I remember it still holds up! Plus, it's fun to see a small group of people who've since been in other productions like Jared Padalecki in Supernatural, Julian Morris in PLL (lmao), & Lindy Booth in a lot of things but I recognize her most as Dodger in Cry Wolf & in Kick-Ass 2 as dat good ol' Night Bitch!! I thought the same thing personally the antagonists are disposable. The blind man kinda took the role of John Wick/Michael Myers route which was pretty nice not gonna lie. But these people have zero personality (totally just another horror sequel) while the first one ages very well.

As someone who LOVED “Don’t Breathe” I was beyond disappointed in the sequel. I agree “why was this made” ran through my head the whole movie. The gore was good but I just didn’t care about ANY of the characters, & we ended up leaving before it ended…maybe it had 10-15 minutes left but I was SO EXCITED when I saw that this was out that I did no prior research & I wish I did so I could’ve saved the money of going to theaters…

I’ve watched so many horror movies from like ‘08-‘14 and there’s a few I’ve really enjoyed that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere yet. Case 39. The haunting in Connecticut, the last house on the left, the crazies, the silent house (original Spanish), the devil inside, the possession, the possession of Michael king, and dark skies. A note on The Green Knight; I agree that the story seemed simple, but to be fair that was how it was intended to be. It was based on an actual story of Gawain from way back in the day (think folk tales!) which many people seem to have missed(poor advertising on the film’s part maybe? Not sure.) So, while it was simple, it was meant to be and I don’t think we should fault it for that. (The giants were also one of my fav. scenes!)

I totally agree with your thing about modern marvel movies, they started out fine with like the avengers but now it’s like....idk there’s just too much going on for me to care anymore, and with so many movies coming out there’s no way they can all be good so why should I waste my time with them.... I love the early 2000s stuff like fantastic four, xmen, and raimi’s spiderman. And I love basically any kids cartoon whether it’s marvel or dc. Though I will admit I like the new spiderman movies and I’m really hype for the next one lol. Reject disney, return to sony.

I know every relates Sylvester Stallone with the rocky’s, rambo’s, and other action movies but if you have not seen ‘Eyes See You’ then you have to check it out. It has a great cast, it has a cold/darkness to it. It came out in 2002 and it is a under rated gem.

I agree that Taissa Framiga’s acting can be a little bit and miss. I highly recommend you check out the movie Anna from 2013 as I think she’s really good in it. It’s more of a suspense with not too many traditional horror elements but I think you’d enjoy it nonetheless.

I humbly disagree with you, that it wasn't the directors intention to have the viewers route for the blind man, he setup the daughter at the beginning (no spoilers), yet we did not see her use (no spoilers) to protect herself within reason. The director clearly in my opinion used the story to redeem the blind man, the villain's were technical just as bad or maybe worst than him, as for the blind man he is a reformed rapist and the best dad who would do anything to protect his child, ultimate dog lover, what the hell? As for the 2nd to 3rd act, what a ridiculous twist, which caused the film to fall apart in story telling. It became nothing more than a redemption fest! I agree with you! Better than DB 1 absolute not, DB 2 has inferior story telling, I think people most be looking at the kills, which had some bite to them.

In dont breathe 2 he very vaguely addresses wrong he’s done in the past I loved it! In the 1st one the girl he insemenated killed his daughter… so he didn’t just kidnap some random chick. No it’s still not ok and he did say he wasnt a rapist. It’s fucked up yes, but he kinda went nuts because he lost his child to a careless driver… so she had to produce another child for him… if the genders were somehow switched I di t think people would of been offended

U should review willy's wonderland ik it has a little weird name but its a really really good movie and a really wonderful treat Nicholas cage is in it but sadly he doesn't speak during the entire movie the only sounds u hear from him is grunts screaming and thats it ik alot of people enjoy a movie when people talk in it but honestly its a good thing he doesn't talk because it builds up the scare factor of the movie and the kills are pretty amazing and whats also amazing is when nick cage literally destroys the animal animatronics the oil spills everywhere its honestly really really good
