Hah, well, the Cell Jr.s might not have inherited Gero's mental conditioning that Cell has, since that was actually done manually(well, via external device). With Cell's notoriety, his best bets for survival would be hiding in the wilderness and suppressing his power, learning to shapeshift like Puar to hide in plain sight and suppressing his power, or fleeing Earth completely. Any serious training or overt power-use on Earth would just send up a red flag and bring in everyone to kill him.

How the fuck did Vegeta, after getting a Zenkai from his Perfect Cell beatdown and spending another day in the RoSaT, still get his ass kicked by a cell Jr.? He should, 1 on 1, have been shown to kill one of those little bug turds even if it took him everything he had. Toriyama is just jealous of Vegeta's gains.

+Gene Glagolev Vegeta actually spent 2 days in the time chamber. He was going to use all 6 days after Piccolo use 1 day of training before the cell game tournament but he couldn't because he would have trap in there forever after 2 days. Obviously! He can't find an answer nor learn anything in there other than strengthen his power. That's why Goku has no need to go back in again where Vegeta can only find lots of answer from Goku during his fight with Cell. Also! Vegeta & Trunk were able to manage their fights on their own against the Cell Jr one on one, but the other Z-Fighters already at their losing end that lead the other Cell Jr to gain up on Vegeta. The worse part is that he & Trunk were both Super Saiyans and Trunk was the only person that don't need to take a sensu bean.

Gene Glagolev Listen to what Goku said against Vegeta, ''if you think that straining your body in there is the same as training, go for it''. Or something like that. So he might have become a little stronger, but the strain it took on his body probably prevented him from getting really strong, or using his full strength because of the strain. For example, after you hit an intense workout in the gym, and you were asked like 20 minutes later to lift some furniture around, it would cost you alot more effort, even though you have the strength with ease at your full potential. But because of the strain from the workout, you feel alot weaker than you are really capable of. Goku understood this, Vegeta didn't.

RyuChief I always figured this issue was negated by senzu beans. Train til you almost die, eat a senzu bean, repeat. It made Goku 10 times stronger in under a week between the Saiyan and Namek arcs, there shouldn't be a reason why it can't do 10 times more for Vegeta in 3 years of gravity training + 2 years in the RoSaT.

No Senzu beans heal and replenish your Ki, but they won't take the stress out of you body. And even if they would, Vegeta immediately would put huge amounts of stress on it again. What Goku did was just for a very short time, just took him a vew days to travel to Namek. What Vegeta does is for years and years. Great thing is to watch the new movie, Whis almost explains the exact same thing to Goku and Vegeta.

While Piccolo and Vegeta both following this arc makes it possible, I think it's far more likely in this scenario that Cell's presence cuts the Buu saga short. Remember, Fat Buu turned good thanks to Hercule's influence, but then that random idiot shot Bee and Evil Buu was released. If Cell Jr. shows up at literally any point in the saga prior to Evil Buu absorbing Fat Buu to become Super Buu, I think Buu ends up fighting Cell alongside the Z-Fighters.

King Piccolo dropped an egg, cell gave live birth to multiple clones - this is an inconsistency in counter to the assumption that cell was able to create clones because of his Namekian genes. It may simply be a Cell specific power - similar to Gotenks clone bombs. Your assumption that Cell wanted to fight people that were stronger than him is inaccurate. Cell abandoned his fight with Piccolo because Piccolo was stronger than him. He convinved Vegeta to let him absorb 18 because he knew he was too strong for him, and he let Gohan go to full power because he didn't think Gohan was stronger than him in the first place. "Cell can use the spirit bomb": No, no he can't. Cell is a malevolent being, and as such would be incapable of using the spirit bomb. Please explain why Gohan didn't sense, track down, and kill the Cell Jr at any time after the Cell games. There's no reason he wouldn't have sensed it, and there's no reason he wouldn't have been able to kill it. They were able to sense Frieza when his power was "approaching the planet", why wouldn't they sense something much stronger than him that was already here. Cell Jr.s don't have the regenerative powers their father does - Gohan killed most of them just by breaking them in half. This being the case, we can assume that they lack many other genetic traits that Cell does have. Do they get Zenkai boosts? Maybe not, we know they can't regenerate for crap. In conclusion, if a cell Jr survived - it wouldn't survive long, and the series would be unaffected by its presence.

Cell was strong enough himself to avoid being completely destabilized but it still got him hard enough to puke up 18. Two more possibilities: let's not forget that both Cell's Saiyan and Namekians progenitors - for lack of a better term - did turn good in the end, thus making it a possibility for Cell Junior as well, not to mention the fact that Cell Juniors seem to have their own personality. Another thing to consider is how unstoppable Buu would become if he did aborb Cell: with Piccolo's intellect, both Cold Demons' and Namekian toughness possibly combined with Cell's exoskeleton, all of his techniques and the apparent ability to mimick them on sight as well as the Saiyan's Zenkai power up ability. I don't see how he could be plausibly stopped.

cell jr. is all of cells DNA, as they are basically cell clones. so theoretically if a cell Junior was alive, Cell could rebuild himself using the cells of a Cell Jr., as part of cell would still exist for him to regenerate from.

That's unlikely. Cell Jr.s were incapable of regeneration. Cell might have spawned them that way on purpose. The reason why Jrs can not regenerate is because Gohan didn't disintegrate any of them. He simply crushed them by physical punches and kicks. Besides this point, Cell would have been more powerful than them anyway even if one of them managed to survive and train. Why? Well, Cell has the ability to get stronger by not training at all. All he has to do is continuously self-destruct over and over again. And who ever or whatever dies by his explosion, will automatically be stored into his cells' memories. This practically makes Cell, the most potentially powerful character in the whole DBZ universe have Gohan and Goku (and Vegeta) had not completely disintegrate him the second time. How could that be possible for Cell to be the potentially strongest? If Cell hadn't been killed, he would have sampled Broly's cells and even Bojaks. Collected them into his being. But, that's "non-Cannon", right? So, how about this. If Cell traveled to other places 1st after discovering his Instant Transmission. He would have absorbed everyone else in each galaxy (North, South, East and West) while at the same time self-destructing, so that once he reached Earth during the Buu Saga, he would easily absorbed Dabura, Evil Buu (The Grey One) and possibly Fat Buu. But since Buu is magical, he could probably still escape from Cell, however; Cell will still have the information stored within his cell memory, which essentially means that Cell still has the skill set and abilities and power of Buu. Don't forget that he has Instant Transmission so absorbing everything in the physical universe is not enoough. He might perhaps teleport into the spirit realm to absorb everyone there too like Pikon and Grand Kai. And suppose Freiza's hentchman did revive Freiza and Freiza trains to be Golden. Cell will end up absorbing him too. But in any case, Cell's most dangerous aspect is in fact, his ability to get stronger whenever he self-destructs. In Cannon, they only allowed him to do that ONCE... Just imagine if he did that twice....

DovaSqueakiins Cell already knew all of Goku's techniques and had his cells within his body, that's why he knew the Kamehameha. He also said in his Imperfect form that he knew the Spirit Bomb and KaioKen. Cell also said that the Cell Jrs inherited his powers, so it's likely they have those techniques too. Cell only learned the Instant Transmission when he and Goku blew up because Goku's cells weren't sampled when he had the technique prior.

You are correct. SSJ3 = 2xSSJ2=4xSSJ (which is what that page you showed ACTUALLY said). SSJ3 Goku is on par with Buu. But I disagree with Cell Junior can DOUBLE Super Perfect Cell's strength with training alone. Goku didn't even do that, he only did it with transformations....though that's a tough one as Freeza trained only 4 month and surpassed Super Saiyan God, and Cell have Freeza's Cell.

You forget the gains Frieza got when he was revived. He went from ~120 million to slightly beyond a SSGSS in his golden form under six months of training. A Cell Junior would also have this potential. A year of training might put Cell Junior at around Beerus' power, assuming it had a similar "golden" form that could be unlocked via training, which I bet it would, as it may also possess Super Saiyan-like potential (maybe the two potentials would combine?). Which means it would make a worthy opponent.

The Cell Jr. would've had a major emotional drive unlike Goku who was basically training for funzies. And we don't know what training method it used. Piccolo Junior Where is it even implied Goku in the Buu Saga was not that far above SSJ2 Teen Gohan? There's parts were it's implied that Buu Saga Vegeta was stronger than SSJ2 Teen Gohan and Goku w/o SSJ3 was still at least twice as strong as Vegeta. Gohan had immense trouble going SSJ2 for the first time. However by the time of the Buu Saga both Vegeta and Goku had already become powerful enough to go SSJ2 w/o needing to have this huge mental push like Gohan needed. Just like Goten and Trunks were so powerful they could go SSJ w/o a huge mental push. Or how Gotenks was so powerful he could go straight to SSJ3 pretty easily.
