⁠@@Pasta_Paradenice try. Suited yes, pre-suit, NO.. And that’s solely a maybe. Vader is leaps and bounds superior to Krayt as a swordmaster. Like it’s not even close. The greatest in galactic history, against one not even in the top 30. All Krayt has on Vader is his Sith lightning; that’s it. And Vader CAN block it-lightning is not some end-all-be-all against Vader. He hulked right through Sidious’s lightning and killed his ass. Yeah he died in the process but the point remains, he killed him first. Krayt is slightly more powerful than Vader solely because he can access what he has easier. But like I said, PRE-suit Vader is another story. He’s far superior to Krayt in direct strength in the force. Again, all he’d have is lightning. Something pre-suit Vader himself was capable of and used more than once. In the temple and on Mustafar; before being cooked and losing that ability. A fight between them could easily go either way. If Krayt CAN catch him off-guard with a lightning attack after a force push or something, then he wins; but if Vader blocks or avoids it, he cuts him down blade to blade. I’d say it would go Krayts way 6/10 times. But that’s solely because of the lightning wildcard. At least 4/10 times he wouldn’t catch him with it, and he’d have his head cut off.

First would anakin still fall in love with padme, yes. He fell in love at their first meeting. Which leads into dooku turning. The answer is yes. The corruption and flaws in the republic and jedi order remaind the same and dooku would remain resolved to leave the order. Bearing in mind that sidious and plagueis had been manipulating him for years prior to tpm. As for how would palpatines plans change? His number one priority would be to eliminate qui gon jinn. Episode 2 would still see the rise of the separatist movement as those pieces were already in motion before palpatines election. Qui gon and anakin would be sent to protect padme with events leading up to geonosis playing out the same up until tattooine. On tattooine anakins mother would still die however anakin would not give into his rage and start a massacre. Instead he would kill only the warriors. Anakin and padme would then travel to geonosis to save qui gon who would be captured by dooku after tracking fett. The clone wars would break out however the duel between anakin, qui gon and dooku would result in qui gon being slain anakin losing his hand and revenge of the sith will play out the same as obi wan takes anakin under his wing after a'sharad rose to jedi knight. Palpatine would continue to push anakin to the dark side however when anakin sits waiting to hear from master windu, he does not act this time as he is much more patient due to his years under qui gon. Sensing anakin has not come sidious enacts his plan killing all four masters. With order 66 enacted obi wan, a'sharad and Yoda return to courscant to find a jedi temple under siege. With anakin Skywalker at the helm of the defense the jedi temple was still holding against the 501st. Joining the battle the jedi succeeded in pushing back the clone assault buying time for anakin, Yoda, Kenobi and hett to put an end to this once and for all. Facing down sidious the four jedi would defeat the dark lord at the cost of Kenobi's life. With the death of sidious the republic would be rebuilt under the guidance of the new supreme chancellor padme amidallah. The jedi order would be rebuilt on another world returning to serving the will of the force.

@@jdstudios1912 I really doubt even after turning to the Dark Side that Dooku could bring himself to kill Qui-Gon. I mean, in Episode 2, he even says that he wished Qui-Gon was still alive so that he would join him in leading the Sepratist movement. I beleive Dooku would instead try to get both Anakin and Qui-Gon to join him,much like how Vader tried that with Luke in Cloud City in Episode 5. Also, since Qui-Gon is training Anakin and not Obi-Wan, I wonder what Kenobi and Hett are doing (or will do in the sequel to this video) during the events of this alternate Episode 2?

Would love to see a sequel. I've been personally working on a story based around Anakin losing to Ventress in their duel on Yavin 4 and getting stranded there. The galaxy changes massively from Anakin's presumed death and absence in the opening year of the Clone Wars. All while Anakin is finally facing his repressed emotions, discovering the tomb of Exar Kun, combating and overcoming his inner darkness before escaping the planet using a ship made from the salvaged wreckage of his own and the clone transport that followed him there. I wanted his first action after leaving Yavin to be his return to Tatooine, where he would try to make peace with his actions against the Tuskans in Ep. II, and pay respects to his mothers grave. But your video inspired me to maybe bring the Hetts into the story somewhat and have them interact, seeing him as someone who slaughtered a tribe, etc. Great video!

At the end, you mentioned why you didn't include Vos and Secura in this scenario, though I think that the in-universe reason would be simple: As they were undercover, they could not risk exposing themselves by aiding in the duel against Maul, which we can also infer is why Jinn didn't acknowledge Vos in _TPM:_ Even if he wasn't aware of what Quinlan was doing, he'd know better than to compromise both Vos' cover and his own.

Very well done per the usual my good sir. Your unique editing and narrative styles blended quite well into the What If genre of Star Wars videos, creating this almost audiobook description of events. I do think the idea of a sequel has its merits. What happens between Anakin and A’sharad when Shmi gets killed by the Tuskens? What happens with Dooku since Qui Gon survived? There is still some interesting story to be had. Also if you’re still interested in doing What If stories and want some ideas how about a What If scenario in which either Darth Caedus or Darth Krayt stumble upon the Lost Tribe of the Sith pre Fate of the Jedi?

This was an interesting take. A well-written one. I'd imagine this would change quite alot of the events from AOTC. Specifically, Dooku's role. With Qui-Gon alive, Dooku wouldn't fall to the darkside. It would either take Palpatine more effort to persuade Dooku or ends up taking Ventress as the new Apprentice (similarly to Lucas's original plans for AOTC).

Dooku's departure from the Jedi was more motivated by how many of them were needlessly dying in avoidable situations. The conversation he had with Palpatine in _Darth Plagueis_ depicted his ultimatum: If any more Jedi were unnecessarily killed, he would leave the Order. While the final straw being Jinn's death certainly intensified his feelings, I believe that he would still have left if another Jedi was killed in a similar conflict.

​@@Daniel_Huffman or perhaps he would leave before the next one happened, maybe if the Jedi Council chose to do similarly little about the emerging of the Sith as they did in the Trilogy so perhaps it would be similar to how the Jedi viewed his status in the Disney Tales of the Jedi, a member of the Lost Twenty yet still welcome in the Jedi Temple and on good terms with individual Jedi like Qui Gon (but legitimate on both sides instead of Dooku using his standing for deception) and perhaps moving to fill some form of separate role unaffected by the Sith or further influence from the Jedi. Although with the amount of evidence that would/could be found on Maul's ship in this scenario, I feel like the Jedi would at least have a starting point for finding the Sith Lords or at least the factions they were manipulating.

​​@@StevenZissimosand another reason why I find it refreshing is that it's based on a logical start point instead of some of the 'What Ifs' I keep getting suggested that feel like scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas or have no way of predicting potential events such as Anakin and Vader switching places, Revan training Anakin, random uses of the World Between Worlds, random Prequel Jedi training Anakin, Qui Gon training Mace Windu or if the Thanos snap affected the Star Wars Galaxy. No offence to those KZbinrs, it simply seems like the inevitable endpoint of limiting oneself to a single sub topic that they'll eventually run out of ideas or potential content.

Its kinda crazy to think that Qui-Gon survival in TPM changed the course of the rest of the saga. Dooku doesn't leave the order, so no Darth Tyranus, and potentially no clone army. I'm sure Palpatine has contingency plans in place, but he's gonna have a much harder time turning Anakin now.

Okay so I have a few, some are probably more crazy than others. What if Luke Skywalker became an ISB agent? What if Darth Vader and Darth Sidious tamed and used Sith Hounds of their own? What if Luke Skywalker crossed paths with Purge Troopers during the Original Trilogy? What if the Rebel Alliance rediscovered Lehon and remnants of the Star Forge? What if the Jensaarai joined forces with the Rebel Alliance during the events of the Original Trilogy? What if Luke & Leia encountered the Blackguard? What if Celeste Morne of the Jedi Covenant joined the Rebel Alliance?

Me and my buds have been discussing what might happen after your what if, Evan, and we'd like to share some of the ideas we came up: - Because Maul died well before his election, Palaptine likely won't attempt to murder Plagueis given how much of their plans have been foiled by Maul dying way too early. - Additionally, Palpatine would be unable to get close enough to Anakin because of Qui-Gon keeping them apart. - Because of this, many of the events that move forward would be the work of Plagueis, with Sidious growing more and more resentful and potentially, create a civil war between them. - On the note of civil wars, Count Dooku's fall was tied to Qui-Gon's death and as such, he would not fall to the Dark Side... yet. However, the writing was on the wall and he was not staying in the Order. He leaves the Jedi and the Republic to form the Separatist movement, with potentially hundreds of Jedi following him. Because of this, a rival Jedi Order is formed under Dooku and friction between them, or at least with the Republic, means a conflict is inevitable. - Additional, Hego Demask met, liked and wanted to recruit Dooku. It is very likely he would sponsor him financially and get inside his inner circle. Whether he can turn him or not, is up to Dooku's character, but he would be critical to getting the Corporations into the Separatists or at least against the Republic in their own faction. - The Clone Army is still created, given the plans for that were already in place. However, the circumstances leading to Jango Fett becoming the template may not happen. Never forget, it was Dooku who put the bounty on his former apprentice, Kamori Vosa, in the first place. Instead, Plagueis may diversify the template program with various assassins who kill various members of the Jedi and Dooku's order, instigating conflict while also finding excellent soldiers for the Clones. Hell, Montross could be one of them. - Instead, Jango could eventually become Manda'lor again and rebuild the nation, with Dooku reaching out to him to build a partnership between them. - Plagueis may reach out to Komari Vosa as Maul's potential replacement. Sidious would seek out his own replacement, perhaps Talzin? - On the subject of Anakin, he is obviously far more well adjusted thanks to his complete family unit, with the four of them likely going back to Tatooine to kick the Hutts off, create peace between the Settlers and Tuskans, and free Shmi. Where we suspect they may settle her could be either still with the Lars, or on Naboo at the behest of Queen Amidala (or Senator depending on where in the timeline this happens). - Attack of the Clones is set up with warhawks on both sides baying for blood thanks to a few well placed bribes, bombs and assassinations. Dooku and Padme are attempting to broker a peaceful RepExit, given they are the only cool heads in the room. Then suddenly, the building is blown up. - Time for the heroes to investigate what is going on...

I enjoyed this - it was well-written. A sequel could be interesting. I think it would have to explore the difference that Qui-gon training Anakin instead of Obi-wan would make. And, as others have pointed out, the lack of the effect that Qui-gon's death had on Dooku could be a big change, but I personally think he would likely join Sidious anyway, given how soon after the events of TPM he slew Yaddle (implying that he had already been in contact with Sidious and his fall was underway). Also, Versus Series idea: Corran Horn vs General Grievous (or really anybody - more Corran would be lovely to see)

You should make a video detailing which era would Sidious's three apprentices would be more suitable in ruling as emperor or leader, elaborating how their skillset makes them the most prominent candidate to rule in said era and how they would rule. I am specfificaly interested in Maul, since although powerful, I have never seen him as a ruler and therefore can't place him somewhere. Vader, while the most powerful of the three, is held back by his weakness to lightning, so I'd like t see how he would handled sith politics. Finally, count dooku seems to be the easiest to sort out, since he is both a great duelist and versatile force user without the weaknesses of Vader against ligthning and Maul's narrow force powers and showings. Cool concept, by the way. Also, how fast are "peak humans" in star wars universe. For example, how would you rank Han Solo, Boba fett, Jango Fett in terms of speed? Since a lot of them have ridiclous showings.

Would you consider a What if Kyle Katarn stays on the darkside? The Jedi knight games play with this idea a bit but no one expands on it. In Dark forces 2 if you pick the dark side powers then you have an alternate ending with Kyle and Sarriss residing in the now dead Jerec's dark tower. In the mysteries of the Sith DLC we also see Katarn in the Sith temple on Dromund Kaas falling to the dark side and only returning to the light after Mara Jade refuses to fight him. I would love to see you potentially expand on either of these ideas and how they affect things such as Luke's search for Jedi, Thrawn's return and the Dark Empire crisis to name a few examples. Thank you for the intriguing stories and comprehensive breakdowns of characters.

Does Sidious still kill Plagueis? In light of the fact that Maul dies earlier and Qui Gon, Kenobi, Anakin and A'Sharad demonstrated themselves to be quite problematic for the sith grand plan Sheev May elect to keep Hego alive. Further, Hego May find it unfit to indulge in alcoholism in light of rising threats, thus Sheev may not even get a chance to kill him.

I'd say it's very likely for Sidious to not go through with killing Plagueis, given their current predicament. This would have major implications for the future of the Sith with Plagueis still alive. This also raises the question of whether Dooku will turn to the Dark Side or not. There is a lot of fertile ground for a sequel!

Given that Palpatine killed Plagueis in a moment of security (with Maul alive to be his apprentice and his chancellorship officiated) I wonder if the death of Maul prior to this would make him hesitate to actually kill Plagueis at the time; hell, the fact that Qui-Gon isn't dead could add more instability as he now has the one person who could stop Dooku from committing to the Dark Side waltzing around the Jedi Temple again

My only "complaint" is Obi's deflecting a shot back into the Tusken weapon. Off the top of my head, they use slug throwers, which means the bullet would have turned to slag as it passed through Obi's lightsaber. Beyond that, this is an absolutely fantastic What If. Also, as many have said in the comments, Vos and Secura are undercover, which would keep them from getting involved. As for a continuation. I think it depends. Is the goal to have A'Sharad become "Krayt" vs Anakin's light side? Or not fall and fight against Vader? Or both fall for different reasons? Neither fall? The thing is, the future of both Padawans effectively mandates how any continuation would happen. Which I think is the magic of this What If. It doesn't just explore a specific situation, the end result is so open ended as to invite multiple possibilities.

When Maul was at the mercy of Qui Gon I noticed it was a nice parallel to when DarthSidious was at the mercy of Windu in ROTS before he became engaged and fought back. I don't know if it was intentional but if it was nice touch.

With Star Wars what ifs I love the idea of using EU material made after the movie being the means of divergence in the timeline. If they do official Star Wars what ifs beyond the Infinities comics they should take notes from your idea and this concept I've suggested

Ok... here's a What If? that I can get behind... placing Star Wars characters in stories they weren't originally in is interesting... no hate on other creators but... I don't want a story where Donald Trump is the Emperor ... or Marvel or DC heroes in the Star Wars Universe... or Darth Vader in the Aliens franchise... but an Expanded Universe character in Canon? I'm in for that... thank you for this😊👍

This was awesome. Part of me does wonder if maybe you could have written Obi-wan cutting Maul’s saberstaff straight through the middle allowing Maul to use two lightsabers and use Jar’kai for the rest of the fight (even Darth Plagueis acknowledged Maul’s mastery over Jar’kai), as Maul’s saberstaff is technically two lightsabers welded together at their pommels and I remember some Versus videos saying it is possible, though the only time I remember that happening in any medium was the comic Star Wars Tales 9 where a resurrected/dark side ritual doppelgänger of Maul fought Vader.
