Ash is such an experienced trainer at this point that now *he's* the one mentoring and being harsh on another trainer to get them to improve, but not in a bad way, because he genuinely wants to see Bede get better!

I was not expecting this part to be almost two hours long. I really fealt it was epic and i feel something terrible is happening. I knew giovanni survived somehow from johto. I feel the story is beginning to shape up and come together. I liked the battle ash had and found it interesting. Cannot wait for season 5.

I predict ash during the Hisui/Sinnoh arc will focus on Dewott since Dewott is in its rebellious phase currently, I think we might be building up to Hisuian Samurott and I am hyped to see that

Bede had that beating coming but its good that Opal and Ash got through to had coming. And I guess we see what Sirfetch'd's replacement is. A Knight for a mighty steed, not a bad trade. Also that ending, seems he survived after all.

I'll be honest I think too much was put into this part that it was a lot to absorb and process. From what I could process, I'm not sure how I feel about the Melmetals being bad guys when the darkest day first began so long ago. From how season 3 ended, I thought Giovanni ended up in Hisui and was a bit disappointed to find out that he is a prisoner of Chairman Rose in the Galar Region.

To be honest, I don't really care for the way Ash caught Ponyta. Ponyta as a Pokémon for Ash is......okay I guess, but I feel as though the capture would've been more impactful if it had happened after the visit to the Pokémon Center and everything involving Bede and Opal. Didn't care for the explanation of why Melmetal exists, and I really don't like the decision of having Mohn in jail, alongside the Nihilego now feeding off his life force instead of being the reason he's alive in the first place

I think it kind of works actually. I remember an early episode where Ash road a Rapidash to win a race. There were some people that thought Ash should have caught it afterwards. So giving a version of him a variation of it is a decent compromise. Kind of like How people thought he should have caught Haunter
