I think I’m seeing a parallel between Chi-Chi & Gohan; Chi-Chi was told that Piccolo was pure evil, but she gave him a chance, and the two became really good friends. Now, we have Gohan told that Vegeta was pure evil, but he’s giving him a chance. Will history repeat itself? This is a rhetorical question, but one I will wait to find the answer to.

Piccolo with KaioKen and his fusions is always interesting. In the Android Saga, his two fusions gets him to a power level surpassing Super Saiyan. Unlike the Saiyans, that's just Piccolo's normal base form since he doesn't have transformations. If he's able to apply even just KaioKen x2 to that power, he's already in spitting distance of Super Saiyan 2.

It’s similar to MasakoX’s description of it where everything is operating at maximum efficiency before going beyond. Though I more believe it’s that and that a set multiplier for base Kaioken is x1.5. Then the whole multipliers for x2, x3, x4 and so on.

and to not make it too broken. piccolo's kaioken is more potent and stronger than the regular one thanks to his biology but in exchange, he cannot regenerate during kaioken meaning that if he loses a limb he won't regenerate until he stops using kaioken and "cool down".

@@jorgenitales412 Slow down with the headcanon. There is no detail that says piccolos kaioken would somehow be better than gokus. Nor that he couldn't regenerate a limb if he had to. You could honestly write that either way. Regen either impedes his focus too much, or kaioken strengthens his energy to the point he can easily sacrifice limbs if needed.

6 ideas popped in my head at the end. (I hope you don't mind) ... 1. Gohan could ask Vegeta about the culture, history and techniques of their people. 2. Maybe Vegeta could see the intellect in the young boy. 3. Gohan could convince Vegeta to spare The Village and use the idea of bringing Nappa back to get information about the Dragon Balls. 4. Vegeta could help Gohan learn how to control his great ape transformation. 5. Vegeta could convince Gohan that Frieza is the true bad guy here and Vegeta is just victim of circumstances, but Gohan uses Vegeta's words to convince himself that he doesn't want to be like frieza. 6. Maybe Vegeta could give Gohan a new name, a saiyan name, the name of his grandfather Bardock. ... Well those are my ideas. So what do you think?

Honestly, Vegeta underestimates Gohan’s pure hearted resolve. Although Gohan may need to train while Vegeta is healing, so he could keep up on Namek better. Potential Power Levels going to Namek… Goku: 75,000-100,000 (give or take how fast the others adapt to higher gravity) Chi Chi: 50,000-65,000 (though Magic will play a role, it isn’t Ki, so this is Ki only) Piccolo: 50,000-80,000 (between gravity, Kaioken, and regeneration) Krillin: 40,000-60,000 Tien and Yamcha… may not go on this journey and just opt to train at home. Tien: 45,000-70,000 Yamcha: 40,000-60,000 But they would be by the end of the Namek Arc.
