...Mabye Canada? Quebec really wants independence, and that may snowball into a independent British Colombia, mabye a united Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, a US annexation of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and an extremely weakened Canada. Newfoundland and Labrador would probably be annexed into Quebec. Honestly I don't know what would happen to Yukon, Northwestern Territories, and Nunavut.

Most likely candidates imo: 1- Spain (Catalonia , Basque, Galicia unites with Portugal?) 2- UK (N Ireland unites with Ireland, Scotland) 3- Somalia (Somaliland) 4- Belgium (Waloonia?) 5- Post-war Russia (if it loses) 6- Post-war Yemen (if it loses)

@@TylerSolvestri Yes, but the Qing ruling class pushed sinicization on their own people for stability, and so now most Manchu people are indistinguishable from Han Chinese. Without sinicization it's unlikely that the Qing would rule for over 250 years, just look at the Mongolian Yuan dynasty as an example. Historically, there was another Northern ethnic group that sinicized so much that they disappeared from history: the Xianbei, who ruled northern China for a few centuries. The ruling class of Xianbei systematically abandoned their original family names and adopted Chinese family names. The ruling families of the subsequent unified dynasties (Sui and Tang) all trace part of their ancestry to the Xianbei people, but they are considered Han Chinese nonetheless.

I am a Chinese, in fact, if China may split, it is Tibet that is most likely to become independent rather than Xinjiang, and if China is divided, it is most likely to be divided into the southern region, the northern region, the Tibet region, and the southern and northern regions will fall into endless wars, and Tibet will fight with the winners after the north and the south have divided the victors. The Chinese masses attach more importance to civilization than to race, so no matter what ethnic group, we pay more attention to whether this nation is part of our culture in history than to any race. This belongs to different ideas produced by different histories, because China has long belonged to a unified state, and since the Qin Dynasty, the ancient countries in this region have believed that only those who occupy all the land here can be considered legal, so we have a strong attachment to unification, and any country in this land also tacitly has the right to conquer the entire land. So we don't understand why, after the dissolution of ancient Rome, every country that was divided was legal, and in our eyes, only by retrieving all the land that was once ancient Rome can it be considered a legitimate state. I don't speak English well, and I'm sorry, and you're welcome to say what we think that you can't understand

The propaganda of the western media is a lot of false news, just like this video, everyone in Tibet supports the CCP, Dalai Lama was the dictator at that time, Tibet was a slave society, slave owners would peel people's skin and make them into paintings. The Western media always promote human rights and the Dalai Lama, but not the Tibetan slaves at that time. Then use these dictators as pawns to divide China. Taiwan's government-in-exile is also a pawn of the United States.

@@robertgarcia7782 Time zone does not exist in uncivilized animal Kingdom China...Xi Jinping and all members of CCP central committee must face Nuremburg Style Justice and Execution for China's Uyghur Genocide, Tibetan Genocide, Manchurian Genocide, Yellow Uyghur Gansu Genocide, Kazakh Aksay Genocide and extermination of non-Chinese ethnic groups in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Vast Uyghuristan (Eastern Turkestan), Tibet, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Gansu, Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor, Guangxi Zhuang region,Yunnan and non-Chinese territories. Communist Soviet Russia created CCP in 1921. CCP created China on 1 October 1949. There was no "China" in entire world history. Since then war criminal China's army unlawfully invaded into Eastern Turkestan, Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Gansu, Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor, Guangxi Zhuang Region, Yunnan, Ningxia Hui region and other territories. Since ancient times Mandarin language is the language of Manchu-Eastern Turk elites on the plains of Yellow River. Since 1954, Mandarin language is the official language of New born China. Mandarin is not Fictional Chinese language. In fact in real world there is no such thing "Chinese ethnic group, Chinese DNA, Chinese language, Chinese culture, Chinese medicine, Chinese civilization ...". Since 1954, China have Created Fictional "Chinese civilization" and Fictional "Han-Chinese" by unlawfully mix up the cultures of many totally different nations on the plains of Yellow River, YANGTZE RIVER, shores of Pacific ocean, East Asia, etc. Han-Chinese are CCP. Han-Chinese eats everything moving around, zero hygiene, zero civilization, zero morality. They are Masters of deception, cheat, lie, spy, steal, hack, copy, troll, murder, deny. All Han-Chinese are illegal invaders, war criminals, terrorists, thieves in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Vast Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and all non Chinese territories. In fact Han-Chinese do not belong to Eastern Turkestan, Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Karasu (aka Gansu), Koknoor (aka Qinghai), Kazakh Aksay. All terrorists are 100 Percent Han-Chinese in China unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and non Chinese territories. In fact The world's biggest single issue in 2022 is China's Uyghur Genocide in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. We have worked as Foreign Experts for China's government for over 20 years. We are masters of Mandarin language. We are experts of China. We travelled all over China. We travelled all over war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Ten Countries: UYGHURISTAN (Eastern Turkestan), Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Karasu (aka Gansu after 1952), Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor (aka Qinghai after 1952), Ningxia Hui Republic, Guangxi Zhuang Region, Yunnan, Cantonia. China's Uyghur Genocide is going on in war criminal Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur-Turk Nation. Because East Turkestan is very rich in all kinds of natural resources, naturally very diverse and vast. Chinese wanted to totally exterminate Uyghur Nation and Chinese wanted to take over Eastern Turkestan from Uyghur Nation. Uyghurs DO NOT LIVE IN CHINA in East Asia. Uyghurs live in own Natural Territory Eastern Turkestan in Central Asia. Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation is not "Xinjiang" of China. Uyghur Nation is not "Ethnic minority of China ". Uyghur Nation is not "Chinese Muslims ". Uyghur Nation has nothing to do with Han-Chinese and China. China is a country in far East of Asia. East Turkestan is a country in Central Asia. The world's second biggest Gobi Desert has totally isolated Eastern Turkestan in Far West and China in Far East of Asia. East Turkestan has nothing to do with Han-Chinese. Size of Eastern Turkestan is bigger than the combination of Europe's biggest Four Countries - Germany, France, Britain and Italy. East Turkestan is the world's biggest producer of rare earth materials, uranium, jade, gold, silver, cotton, tomatoes, garlic, silk, cashmere, green, raisins, Grapes, wool, leather, meat, marble, etc. East Turkestan is one of the world's biggest producer of coal, salt, petrol, natural gas, mika, and many others. Uyghur Nation was the Riches Nation in the world before China's illegal invasion into Eastern Turkestan on 20 October 1949. China has been robbing Trillions of US dollars of energy, food, raw materials, uranium, rare earth materials, Jade, gold, fresh bottled water, fresh bottled air, Uyghur Organs, Uyghur blood, Uyghur flesh, and many goods from Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Poor China, over 1.4 Billion hungry Chinese and millions of junk factories in China cannot survive without Robbing TRILLIONS of US dollars of natural resources from natural resources extremely rich, naturally very diverse and vast Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Since late 2016 China unlawfully cut off all telephone connections, Internet connections, postal services and travel for all Uyghurs in between Eastern Turkestan and rest of the world. China has kicked out all foreigners from East Turkestan of Uyghur-Turk Nation and China DO NOT ISSUE VISA FOR FOREIGNERS TO TRAVEL TO EASTERN TURKESTAN. China do not let foreigners with China's Visa to travel to East Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents under strict surveillance. Only China paid foreign criminals with Han-Chinese State security agents together go to Eastern Turkestan to make propaganda videos for Chinese government to cover up China's Uyghur Genocide. Even China paid foreign criminals cannot travel to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents under strict surveillance. All pictures and videos are strictly controlled by Chinese government. All "HAPPY UYGHUR VIDEOS " on KZbin are "Made in China" by China' state security agents with China paid foreign criminals. China do not let Uyghurs from Eastern Turkestan freely travel to China. China do not let Uyghurs from Eastern Turkestan to travel to any other countries. China do not let Uyghurs from other countries to go to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with their parents and family China do not let Uyghurs escape from East Turkestan to other countries. Many Uyghurs are shot dead on the way escape from East Turkestan to other countries. Uyghurs cannot be refugees in neighbouring Pakistan. China do not let foreigner to talk to Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state security agents in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Strict SURVELANCE and strict Family planning are only applied to Uyghur Nation in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Chinese illegal invaders have no family planning in Eastern Turkestan. War criminal China has been unlawfully transferring millions of own Han-Chinese from extremely poor Chinese villages in China to Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and all non Chinese territories to destroy local people. War Criminal Chinese government and China paid foreign criminals are producing disinformation campaign Worldwide to cover up China's Uyghur Genocide, China's Uyghur Organ Harvesting, China's Uyghur Concentration mass murder camps, China's crime against humanity, China's war crime, China's erase Uyghur Nation in Chinese army unlawfully occupied East Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Many over 80 years old Uyghurs are locked up in "China's Uyghur Re-education mass murder camps" in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Many Uyghur children are locked up in " China's Uyghur Concentration Re-education camps " in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. China did not lock up Han-Chinese Terrorists in "China's Re-education camps " in Eastern Turkestan. Since 1964, War criminal China Tested 46 Nuclear Bombs on Defenceless Uyghur Civilians in Chinese army unlawfully occupied East Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. China's Uyghur Forced Sterilisation, Forced Abortion and Organ Harvesting industry are booming. China do not let Uyghurs access Internet, smart phone, international phone call and postal services. CHINA UNLAWFULLY CUT OFF ALL TELEPHONE CONNECTIONS, INTERNET CONNECTIONS, POSTAL SERVICES AND TRAVEL FOR ALL UYGHURS IN BETWEEN UYGHUR EAST TURKESTAN AND REST OF THE WORLD. From 2015, China do not issue Tourist Visa for foreigners to travel to Eastern Turkestan. China has exterminated all Uyghurs who has spoken with foreign tourists in Eastern Turkestan in the past. China do not let Uyghurs to talk to Foreigners without Han-Chinese state security agents in Eastern Turkestan. China do net let Journalists from democratic Countries to go to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents. China do not let UN officials to go to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents. The question is : why some multi-ethnic multi -national entities break up and some don't? Why some have longer life than the other(s)? And granted, thats exactly what happened with Pakistan and Bangladesh, but even after the two regions full of muslims was separated from India proper, India today still has a sizeable muslim majority, which could split the country even further by this logic. this is not even taking into account of the various sects of Hinduism, the Sikh population, the Jain population, the Buddhist Population, and the ways of life different regions lead (rajputs, people from punjab, people from bengal, and people from the south and centre of India all lead very different lives, and the major uniting factor is simply religion. however, when a religion is as seperated into different sects as Hinduism is, the result is similar to that off which has occured to the middle east.)

I see that quite a lot of work has gone into this video but unfortunately it has not touched upon the more realistic scenarios for a breakup of China. The scenario in which China can possibly breakup would be one in which the Han majority becomes divided against itself for various reasons. E.g. politics, regional pride, finances, culture. Having border regions breakaway would merely be an inadvertent consequence of the situation.

Han, emperor ling was a terrible emperor that only cared for women and wine, and for some reason was really greedy for money(despite being emporer) leaving power to eunuchs, leading directly to the han's collapse jin, internal war cause by the empress whose son, the emperor who had a learning disability. sui, terrible second emperor who wasted a million+ lives on failed military campaigns and massive internal works followed by him fleeing then parting the rest of his days away while his empire fell. tang, internal rebellion by a general lead to weakening of imperial power to regional warlords who then usurped power and descended to civil war song, losing wars to liao, jin, then finally mongols, external threat was coupled with a government system that favored an extremely weak military giving its general basically no independence of action yuan, power instability with many quick successions of emperors, the later ones going on massive spending sprees on bribes, parties and women, using a years worth of taxes in like a month in addition to the then climate change causing crop failures and floods every single year that the corrupt and incompetent emperors could not deal with leading to massive peasant rebellions Ming, 4th to last emperor didnt go to court for the last 20 years of his rule, 3rd to last emperor was only on the throne for like a year, second to last emporer didn't go to court for his entire 10 year rule. by th etime the last emperor ascended the empire was already falling all around qing, the westerners showed up and got the empire addicted to drugs at the point of a gun, and do many other things at the point of a gun. so tell me, which one of these was not external invasion or governance failures? literally none was because of some irreconcilable differences between han groups internally that caused civil wars it was almost the entire nation conquered by external forces, or the citizens pushed to extreme and the peasantry across the nation rose up.

Perhaps something like a clever use of the federalisation concept could allow everyone to win. Beijing could retain overall control at the federal level, but allow say Xinjiang, Tibet and Mongolia to each have an additional local government to which some authority would be delegated, allowing regions that cause friction with Beijing to retain their distinctive characteristics. Trying to force large numbers of peoples in distant places to all conform to a prescribed culture is likely to result in wars eventually. You can force soneone to behave in a certain way for a time, but you can't change what they think deep inside, even with psychological conditioning (which is truly horrific). Neither can you change the commonality they have with others of like mind. Federalisation would all but eliminate unrest, without losing the territory. It could conceivably even form the basis of a treaty with Taiwan, establishing a connection with Beijing. No-one in the entire human race can really be forced to conform completely to something that is too far removed from their own culture. But that doesn't hinder alliances and federations. But that's all just speculation, as I am a Brit. I'm quite fond of the Chinese peoples and their original cultures though, and I would like to see more harmony and prosperity there; just without the coercion, force or brutality, as these don't serve the interests of any of the peoples.

I would be for the complete independent self-governance of all ethnic/cultural groups across the world if it weren't for adversaries. Some of the things done in the name of centralization are horrendous indeed, as they have been in many societies. People in China need to co-operate so that there is a strong alternative to US supremacy; so that as western culture corrupts we don't enter a new dark age, but the era of some other society's enlightenment carries humanity forward. I did however wish, it would be possible to maintain a strongly cooperating and thriving China that is federal or even unionised; unfortunately everyone would sell the others out to western powers to gain an edge over their neighbours, making Asia a second Africa. Even the EU can be weakened through division at times; but one can dream, maybe some day it could be possible before all other cultures in China are destroyed. To the Uyghurs I pledge my support for visa's to Türkiye may they wish to flee.

The Chinese mentality is that the winner takes all, that has been the case for more than 2000 since the first Chinese Emperor. That's how China is run, centralized and totally controlled by the emperor or everybody is killing to found a new dynasty of his own when the old power is weakened . Federalization is a tradition long lost in China after Autumn and Spring Era around 500 BC. This is not going to happen all of a sudden.

The population of Inner Mongolia is 24 millions, in which Han population accounts for 85% and ethnic Mongolian is only 3 million (12.5% only!). 3. Both Han and Uyghur people account for about 40% of Xinjiang population. I like this hypothetical question and although it is indeed possible that China could break up (because anything is possible) I think it is highly unlikely as the conditions that made this possible in the past are much less significant if not non existent today. Over the years the Chinese government (CCP) did a very good job in creating a sense of national identity in the minds of the different ethnic groups as well as the different Han subsets by creating things like a common language and building out connective infrastructure that made it possible for people from different parts of China to interact more easily. Today hundreds of millions of Chinese people live in parts of the country that they did not historically live and all of these things have greatly diminished the strong sense of regionalism that contributed to previous breakups. Tibet and maybe Xinjiang could try to break away if China ever descended into chaos but they would most likely be reconquered again when stability returns to the country as it always does.

Agreed, it is unlikely right now. It is not popular enough in most of China to recognize oneself as anything other than Han Chinese. As long as everyone wants to be Han they aren't going to want to separate. Right now, I could only see the Canton region separating as it is the only region that has really held on to its language (I think probably thanks to Hong Kong). As long as the CCP is in charge, I don't see that cultural shift happening.

Never do we want to be separated from our country cause language is not the only factor to unify people, ethnicity and the common-shared history play a more important role in forming our nationality-recognition. The only conflict is that we want to preserve our mother tongue-that is Cantonese. We wanna that people from other provinces can respect Cantonese which shouldn’t be banned from using while mandarin is the status quote standardized official language.

In fact, strictly speaking, the cultural differences within China today are comparable to those in France at the time of the Revolution. Neither the Normans nor the Provençals or the Burgundians were culturally what they were, and they were neither willing enough to break away from Parisian rule nor able enough to do so. But speaking of federalism, I am more worried about the fascist tendencies of India, and to be honest in Asia Japan, China and India are similar to Britain, France and Germany in Europe in every way, the order of their rise, their cultural heritage and their political organisation.

...ccc....Xi Jinping and all members of CCP central committee must face Nuremburg Style Justice and Execution for China's Uyghur Genocide, Tibetan Genocide, Manchurian Genocide, Yellow Uyghur Gansu Genocide, Kazakh Aksay Genocide and extermination of non-Chinese ethnic groups in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Vast Uyghuristan (Eastern Turkestan), Tibet, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Gansu, Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor, Guangxi Zhuang region,Yunnan and non-Chinese territories. China's disinformation campaign Worldwide to cover up China's Uyghur Genocide are going on in all countries. The people must not learn about an alternative Chinese cultured system right on their doorstep with opportunities and freedoms with viable industries that grew organically. That is just too dangerous for the ruling class. The CCP cares a shit about China or Chinese. They only care for their own power and pockets. If they have to throw hundreds lf millions of people under the bus to keep it then you can bet they absolutely will do it. The morally grounded officials -if there ever were some- are long gone. Though I do agree with your reasoning for why places like Tibet and Xinjiang would wanting to secede if given the chance. I think that your Mongolian and Han Chinese arguments are flawed. I say that your Mongol argument is flawed, is because the Mongolians themselves are or at least were a collection of different people groups grouped together based on Language and Culture. Though that might sounds irrelevant and/or contradictory, if you were to look into the past the people we consider “Mongols” now were once a collection of different nomadic tribes who formed coalitions with other nomadic tribes to defeat and control other nomadic tribes from different coalitions, which also helped with cultural exchange. Though that was before Genghis’s time and even during Genghis’s time there still was a lot variety is “Mongol” culture and loyalties. Though, Genghis did issue a written form of Mongol language to be made. But then again if things really do get bad enough in China I do think that it is a possibility, though the majority of Mongol people are in the the Chinese province of “Inner Mongolia” and their homeland is the steppes. While each Sub-group of course has their own “Homeland”. But maybe Nationalism could spike. Then there is the argument for the Secession on Han Chinese people from Han Chinese Mainland China, claiming that because they were ruled by many different kingdoms and Dynasties from time to time. It then correlates to them having a reason to break away. The reason this is flawed because if you were to look at it with the assumption that these kingdoms and dynasties were fighting under the same circumstances of Western European kingdoms then it would seem like a reasonable conclusion. But, since this is China we’re talking about, and not Western European kingdoms, we should at least expect there to be some differences. But also similarities and there surely were. You see, whenever China would engage in another Civil war it would be local Warlords fighting each other, but what people forget is that they’re Officials, and for the most part usually belonged to a powerful families or “Clan” and these officials served under the Emperor, who was by the time of a civil war were either under the threat of having their power usurped by them by outright rebellious officials, used as leverage by a warlord to gain an advantage over other warlords, and/or being protected by loyalist, who may just try to usurp power later. So the people under the control of these warlords would’ve only seen them as officials who like them served under the same leader. But if that the party fighting over control of Han Chinese land wasn’t an Official, but instead a Foreign one then nobody would’ve had any loyalties to them because they’re foreign leaders with a different culture. The Yuan dynasty ruled by foreign Mongol people was kicked out of Chinese land. The Qing Dynasty was deposed and replaced by a Republic. Both of which certainly aren’t respected by Han Chinese people. Not sure about the Jin dynasty but it probably would’ve gotten the same treatment. There is then difference in Cuisine, Game boards, language and etc. Which doesn’t really make much sense, since here in America we have that too but we don’t have Americans sayings Acadian, Deep South, New England, (State)BBQ, (state dish), and etc dishes are better and we should secede because of it. Same with those other subjects. We still see each other as Americans. Just a variation in Culture caused by regional differences and isolation since you can’t expect people with a mode of transportation to start standardizing Culture down to the smallest touch only for new changes to occur caused by the regional isolation especially varies quite a bit in geography allowing for cultural isolation to take place. But than again maybe I’m wrong. But in my opinion only Nationalism would allow people to get upset over variations. Though I certainly am probably wrong about some of these things to an extent. Since I am an American and you can’t expect a foreigner to know so much about a foreign country’s customs, history and etc. Though I believe I got my information from a credible source that covers Chinese and Eastern History being the KZbin Channel “Cool History Bros”. I just hope my evaluation wasn’t terrible.

Sure there is a lot of variety in the mongol peoples but they all ultimately identify as mongolian not han chinese, think genghis khan is the greatest person to ever live and share more in common with each other in terms of culture, lifestyle and language than the dominant han majority. It's just too different which is why historically integrating the mongols in inner mongolia has proved very difficult where even subtle changes like forbidding classes in mongolian from being taught in school was seen as an attack on their identity. However, I do feel like if China was to collapse inner mongolia might not reunify with mongolia due to the han majority in the region that happened over centuries of settlement and colonisation sort of like the situation in northern ireland.

@@dunnowy123 The UK is actually interesting because it acknowledges that it is comprised of historically separate countries, it's right there in the name of the country. I think it's a credit that we can even float the possibility of Scottish independence without having to put anyone in concentration camps to instruct them with the correct political leanings. It's why we're able to discuss the issue frankly and openly, because no one is coming for you in the night because of your opinion on the matter, one way or the other. This is the shame of totalitarianism. In a parallel universe, there is a Xinjiang that is quite content to be associated with the idea of a 'Greater China', because it's one that isn't actively stomping their face into the dirt with a jack boot.

China has certainly experienced multiple episodes of central government collapses and the rise of warlordism throughout its history, and so it's easy to speculate similar events for the country's future, but on a realistic level I don't see that in the cards. The sheer might of the Chinese police state, military, and historical mass migration of Han people into those areas make any meaningful independence movements pretty unlikely to say the least. That is, apart from some extraordinary setback for the Chinese government. Don't get me wrong, I understand the context of the video, that it's purely speculative and it's interesting to imagine what the country would look like if similar events from its past were reenacted today.

If China starts a Taiwan war and if US and EU helps Taiwan than that might trigger those country's to ask India for military access so they could attack inland China from the west while getting the fleet and planes attack from the east. If it will look like China will loose this hypothetical war some of these groups of people might see it as their change to 'get out' of the regime. It might sparkle rebels and separate. That's a lot of speculation and if's I understand, but it's interesting to keep in the back of your mind.

After the disintegration of many dynasties, the Chinese summed up the harbinger of the demise of the dynasty. Every time the dynasty is about to collapse, the following happens. (1) a very small number of people own a lot of wealth and land; (2) the rich who own a lot of wealth only have to pay very little tax to the government. (3) in order to maintain the normal operation of the government, a large number of taxes are borne by civilians with only a small amount of wealth. (4) military expenditure accounts for most of the government budget. Judging from these circumstances, there is still a long way to go for China to disintegrate.🤭

Indeed I don't really think that Han Chinese territory, including most of Inner Mongolia and Manchuria, would break by culture. For several thousand years, with great differences, those parts remain to claim themselves as a part of China. If separation really happens, it would rather become warlords from different Han culture branches fighting each other for who is rightful China instead

In fact, if you want to imagine a country splitting, you must first learn history. Manchu independence is the most impractical and completely illusory. After the collapse of the Qing Dynasty, Manchu people were basically all sinicized. Now Manchu is a dead language. In other words, the Manchu people should be regarded as the Han people in culture, which is the most unlikely division. Secondly, Mongolia was gradually weakened after the end of the Yuan Dynasty, and was subordinate to the Manchu in the Qing Dynasty. In fact, Mongolia's independence was supported by the Soviet Union. Without the support of the Soviet Union, Outer Mongolia would not be able to achieve independence at all. Therefore, there is no saying that Inner Mongolia returns to Outer Mongolia. It should be that Outer Mongolia returns to Inner Mongolia. After all, the blood of the orthodox successor of the Mongolian Empire is in Inner Mongolia. Then there is Tibet. The possibility of independence in this region is very small. Buddhism has spread in most parts of China. At the same time, the current Buddhist leaders in Tibet are authorized by the central government. This tradition has continued since the Qing Dynasty. If he wants to become independent now, he must think about whether his religious status will be challenged. Finally, Xinjiang, the mainstream religion in Xinjiang, believes in Islam. This region is most likely to be independent, but to be independent, it must have the support of a strong Islamic country. At the same time, Xinjiang must give up its future economic development prospects. If you make a conclusion, you should first realize that China is most likely to fall into civil war rather than division. Even during the period of the Republic of China, all warlords recognized the integrity of China, and all places wanted to seize the rule of the country rather than allow themselves to become independent. Therefore, you will understand that it is unrealistic to speculate that a certain region will become independent from a narrow western perspective. On the contrary, it is more reasonable to imagine a civil war. To sum up, all this is based on the premise that the existing central government is weak, which will be difficult to happen in the next 50 years. If I can make a more reliable assumption, I think Russia will encounter big trouble after Putin's death. Outer Mongolia is weak, and it is more likely to return to China in the future. If Russia fails to elect a strong leader after Putin's death, China will have the opportunity to occupy the territory of eastern Russia. At the same time, there will be no super power in Central Asia in the next 50 years at least. Therefore, it is not impossible for China to expand its influence in the Islamic world.
