One crucial detail you missed: If the Ubuyashiki mansion exploded in the same way, then Muzan would be dead, because he couldn’t regenerate his injuries. If that didn’t kill him, then the final fight would have been a piece of cake for the slayers (Tengen would have retired anyways, but Rengoku would have been there. Mitsuri and Obanai wouldn’t have gotten badly injured either) as the hashira’s (besides those in Kokushibo’s fight) would be basically unharmed. A lot more Hashira would have survived because of how weakened (or dead) Muzan would be. Also, don’t forget Tamayo’s poison.

Really awesome concept! I'd be curious about a few things though as I don't think Nezuko would die from Hantengu since they don't use Nichirin swords. They don't die because they're cut, they die because the swords used disintegrate whatever's severed like they're in sunlight. Urukodaki hinted you could kill a demon if you smash their head in but I'm skeptical of that since the demon in Muichiro's flashback didn't vanish until the sunlight showed up despite having a boulder on his face. The same rule would apply to Daki if Nezuko's the one to beat her because she'd have to be cut by a Nichirin sword. Their head could still survive on its own if it's not decapitated by a Nichirin blade, they'd just have to control their body to take it and run sort of like Rui did when he severed his own head. I'd picture the Rui fight not changing much, he'd just hang his severed head from a tree watching his body to control it to fight until Giyu shows up and cuts his entire head like Muichiro does to Gyokko. ALSO, I'd find it really interesting if we had an EXTRA Hashira here: Kanae Shinobu. (Well, only 9 are allowed at a time so Kocho would be Kinoe rank) We never saw her fight with Doma, but she died the same way Rengoku did, holding off the upper rank solo until they had to flee because of the sunlight which means she likely gave him a run for his money in the fight so put Kanae and Kocho together against Doma before Inosuke and Kanao arrive to help.

Keep in mind if demons couldn't rapidly regenerate to a degree, you'd be dealing with very different demon culture, fighting styles, and its highly likely Muzon would have required Kokushibo to teach every other demon who made it to moon breathing. I also feel like you under estimate how much the dynamics with Daki and her brother would change. 1. Without hyper regeneration her brother isn't likely living in her, but just skulking about in shadows. 2. With her brother unable to hide in her the secret tunnel system is therefore likely far better developed and trapped. 3. This would just about entirely change how willing Daki is to stay in a fight once her brother has to intervene, since no regeneration means they're even more dependent on their linked life, and thus she'd be even more aware her role then is to run and hide, while the semi-independent part of her sash hides in waiting to pull her brother's broken body to safety if he loses. 4. With being less able to rely on her brother to bail her out, chances are high Daki is forced to put more effort into being a better combatant. --------------------------- Not sure about this Nezuko arc, but rather the first battle where she got significantly injured would likely prompt her to request Lady Tamayo do to her whatever let them survive without eating humans. This is also honestly one of the odd things about the main timeline, I never understood as well, since there is very little wrong or that harmful with a demon taking a non-damaging amount of blood. You also forgot the eat demons as they go alternative. Thus we're potentially dealing with a stronger Nezuko, since this version wouldn't have been able to starve herself and hibernate. Also lets face it if demons can't hyper regenerate Muzon is likely far more open to the idea of sending groups of demons on important missions and destroying the Swordsmith Village would be a far higher priority, to get rid of the weapons that are kryptonite to them. However learning of her demon art Muzon is far more likely to order Nezuko taken alive in the hope she can learn to heal demons as well, thus I'd potentially see this arc ending not with her death but Nezuko surrendering herself for her brother and a very small group of survivors being let go. Basically the Swordsmith Arc would be entirely rewritten to one where the slayers have no chance of victory, but instead have to focus on saving enough people the swordsmith art isn't lost with the village. -------- Also wow this video's comments are filled with people who didn't pay attention and just posted but Yuroichi kills him.

The reason the demons are so freaking powerful is because of their regeneration, their regeneration allows them to recover from fights and train for long periods of time because they don't need to take a break, they can just continue because their regeneration means their blood travels the body faster and take in more oxygen. If they can't regenerate fast they would be extremely weak, they would be humans with better strength, speed, stamina but not enough to regenerate fast.

10:06 Muichiro initially sliced hantengu’s head off and heantengu regenerated and split into three clones, so if he wasn’t able to regenerate, they would have easily defeated upper rank 4 & 5 within few minutes and sunstaining absolutely 0 injuries, also one more thing is that Gyomei smashed muzan’s head and decapitated him so Muzan wouldn’t be able to regenerate and everything would end without the infinity castle arc, I guess we could say a timeline where demons can’t regenerate is just not possible😅

In the fight between kokushibou and the hashira's genya swallowed a piece of kokushibou broken sword an received a massive amount of boost in his blood demon art which allowed him to hold kokushibou to for seconds in that moment gyomi cuts kokushibo's head but in this story that never happened cause demon can't regenerate neither can genya who uses the power of demons so while trying to convince muichiro to become a demon kokushibou spots genya an imidietly cuts genya in half eventually killing him so without his help other hashira's stand no chance against kokushibou so in the final fight they not only have to fight muzan but also kokushibou so I don't think they can defeat both at the same time

You are by far my favorite what if content creator so sorry if my nitpicks are mean. 1. In the fight between rengoku and akaza, he would still die because if akaza is being more careful (as mentioned in the beginning) he would use all of his forms that are much stronger then any of the ones he used against rengoku, meaning he would def kill rengoku one way or another. 2. In the fight between kokushibo and everyone else, he ended up dying because he held back for a while because he did not want to ruin the fight and immediately kill them. However, since he is also being more cautious, he would hold nothing back at all and they would all end up dying. Even if we don’t include the cautious factor, kokushibo was not very reliant on his regeneration for a while, and since he is stronger everywhere else he would still kill them. (Also another comment brought this up: genya would die from no regeneration so they would be lacking him which makes it even harder).

But the last time with her centipede dance , it’s clear Shinobu out paced and blitzed Doma and nailed him to the ceiling . Besides a single stab to the vital organ or poisonous slice is gonna be enough to kill Doma 💀(he was puking blood and on the floor when he first got stabbed) Doesn’t change the fact that Shinobu still would solo. She’s perception blitzing the upper moons 4-6 with ease no diff . If demons getting more serious won’t matter much other than some cases like Tengen and Gyutaro and base Muichiro and Gyokko (not counted marked mui). Base Mitsuri would have manhandled upper 4. He said regeneration gone, but since his power is innate to him like the siblings needing to both die, that would likely still function, just he'd have a drawback to the main bodies getting subdivided. Basically he'd probably work somewhat like the Tzeentch Blue Horrors from Warhammer/40k, where they subdivide but each subdivision while more numerous is weaker, and the main clones would have to reabsorb the pieces lost to regain their lost limb. or whatever.

If they didn’t have regeneration then it would be the easiest task to kill because when akaza used his regeneration if they had none he can actually be killed easily well not really easy because remeber how akaza wasn’t trying and playing with him since he can’t regen he will go all out and kill rengoku with ease .

Wouldn't change his desire to have Rengoku become a demon, just his fighting style would be far more defensive rather than taking needless damage, when trying to convince Rengoku to go demon.
