I think that broly didn't need the ikari form when he use the ultimate form because it's unlocks all the power he had and I think it's more realistic to use the ultimate with kaioken

But you know, Broly having a natural potential that rivals super sayian god on its own, should have changed the story more than it did. Especially when Beerus comes at a time where DBS Broly is already that strong. It makes no sense that a Broly who has had tougher training and more fighting experiences with new super modes, -is weaker than a Broly who has just learned to fight like in the movie.

Majin Dabura was equal in power to Perfect Cell, not Super Perfect Cell. Not to mention the fact that Broly: BR is supposed to be at peace with himself in this Timeline, so he should have been pure enough to have been able to become a Super Saiyan God. Especially since Super Saiyan God is a serene transformation and nothing like the other Saiyan forms that had came before it.

I'm also surprised how weak broly is in this, in the original he was able to go toe to toe with post tournament of power characters while only really training with paragus which is effectively pointless in terms of training, now he goes through the whole series with so many training partners and teachers... yet can't keep up with beerus better than goku could as a first time super saiyan god?

It might be because of the fact that Carthu is overpowering the villains and villainesses of his stories, while also at the very exact same time, nerfing the heroes and heroines of those very exact same said stories just like what Smug Stick and Salad Saiyan had been doing for countless months now.

@@adamwade6243 Another reason why broly couldn't get god ki may be how Broly was born as a kind of freak of nature. Whis states it was a _natural_ imbalance keeping Broly from obtaining god ki. I think it might be in reference to his full power super saiyan, it is a similar explanation given in the "what if Broly landed on Earth?" series.

what if ideas: What if the saiyans believed bardock What if the goku wasnt revived in the buu saga What if vegeta became the super saiyan god What if goku didnt go super saiyan against frieza What if vegeta trained with king kai during the preparing for the androids training What if goku beat buu at the time when he couldve What if the super saiyan god didnt exist What if goku went super kaioken against cell What if goku and vegeta got their potential unleashed What if vegeta went super saiyan three against kid buu (say vegeta stalled the attack to blow up earth so goku could also save gohan goten and trunks, when vegeta tries to stall for the genki dama kid buu is about to kill vegeta, but trunks steps kn and saves his life but dies, out of pure rage vegeta becomes ssj3)

Oh sweet a different path for Broly, because the Ultimate Form is way better. Also Gohan getting the Ultimate Form now neat, and is training along side Broly while Goku and Vegeta train in Whis like normal it's a nice little parallel here. Maybe Gohan next power up is learning to use the Ikari Form with the Ultimate Form like Broly can.

The problem with Broly might be how in the "What if Broly landed on Earth" series the explanation given was that ki was overflowing through Broly. Whis in this what if stated that Broly has a _natural_ imbalance keeping him from obtaining God Ki. I think this is a reference to how Broly's power works.
