that's also the feeling I got. he just took goku's canon spot. gine was prety much a side character to justify that chichi doesn't prevent gohan from training. and the parts that were left for goku were mostly his mistakes due to naivety.

It has been a great AU story. Although there's not gonna be anymore, at least it was. Prolly the best au with Goku reviving his parents I think. It's been a great ride :)
