He would run out of chakra spamming that and Itachi doesn’t have to spam his strongest jutsu to keep up. In this video he forgot to mention regular Edo are weaker than their alive self so Itachi is actually faster than what we saw of the Edo version. Izanami is also an easy way to trap an opponent even if for a brief period that’s all he needs. And truthfully it’s not guaranteed he’ll always be able to dodge Amaterasu. That jutsu got nerfed because Itachi wasn’t using it where as Sasuke fights people who narratively can’t be one shotted. The Amaterasu Itachi implanted in Sasuke was fast enough to hit Obito perhaps because of the close range or just bc Itachi’s is faster. Obito can keep up with the Raikage who dodged Sasuke’s. Being nice and saying Tobirama can dodge it just one slip up or good tactic from Itachi ends him. On the other hand Tobirama doesn’t have as many win conditions with his stamina being exaggerated

I think Tobirama's Edo tensei paper bomb barrage can heavily damage Itachi's susano , if he doesn't pull out the Yata mirror which even at that is uni directional so some damage will be done , cause Juubito was implied to find it worthy to protect himself with his orbs and it destroyed the last largest standing Hashirama's gates.

Man... I love these videos of yours. I have an suggestion for a versus video. Naruto vs Danzo. All of Naruto's forms, but I think the most interesting one would be if Sage Mode Naruto (when he fought Pain) would be able to defeat Danzo in a fight. Danzo was also nerfed in his fight against MS Sasuke (he couldn't use Shisui's sharingan in his right eye and had to hold back in order to save chakra to fight Tobi) so I think if the prowess of the Sharingan would give him a boost or an amp as he demostrated when killing the Land of Woods ninjas. I also get the feeling that Sage Mode Naruto might be a more favorable match-up due to Naruto lacking the Susano'o armor as Sasuke could defend himself from Danzo's constant Izanagi pressure. Also it would make sense in a story sense if Naruto and Danzo fought due to their conflicting ideals.

The argument that tobirama is not as fast as Naruto or minato kcm is actually not true at all. Itachi shouldn't be able to evade flying raijin as it is not a direct attack but rather a surprise. Plus tobirama is extremely polivalent and mainly catches his opponent by surprise. Same for Itachi as well, none of them are gonna fight directly. One wrong move from each would be deciding.

Meaning he doesn’t have to be edo to use it. He did t just make that jutsu up when he was edo. Next, water trumps fire for one, and tobirama not only has way more chakra than itachi but is also better at using water jutsu than itachi is at using fire, not counting Amaterasu because that’s not necessary a fire jutsu but a mgs jutsu. Tobirama is top 3 if not number 1 at water jutsu proficiency, yes he can create massive amounts of water out of nothing just like kisame. And again Tobirama has more chakra so he can send water dragons much more than itachi can send fire balls. Or he can just summon massive amount of water giving himself environment advantages. Lastly, tobirama can use ftg in other ways too, he don’t have to use them with kunai. Whatever he mark he can teleport to, it’s that simple. Kunai just gives him a medium to jump to. Biggest thing I think people overlook about Tobirama is that he's a thinker, not a fighter. He's strong, sure. But we've seen not one, not two, but three extremely powerful jutsu he created, but that it took others (Naruto, Orochimaru and Minato) to actually perfect, eliminate the flaws, and use to their fullest extent. He's creative and intelligent, but this demonstrates he falls short when it comes to practical application. It's a shame this often gets ignored, as it's a really interesting element of his character, showing him as a man more fit for leading armies and strategy than he is for one-on-one combat, unlike many Naruto characters.

Personally, I'd give this match up to Tobirama Senju. It would be a tough fight for both, as both have a great skill set and IQ but lord second just slightly has a better advantage in battle IQ, speed, and durability and a huge advantage in stamina being a senju and all. If both were Edo, then things could potentially be different with Itachi having Totsuka and Tobirama having no way of sealing Itachi, however, i assume Tobirama has a trump card under his sleeve being the creator of Edo Tensei. He knows the jutsu better than anyone and the hand signs to possibly undo Itachi's edo.

The Second Hokage would fuck Itachi up pretty badly. He can flood the battlefield and get under Itachi's Susanoo. If he is a far enough distance away, he can react to Amaterasu coming at him and deflect it with water shields and he can also instant teleport to dodge. He would know Itachi is an uchiha just from sensing his signature and would promptly avoid any eye contact. Itachi's non-sharingan genjutsu is only shown to be above the level of base early Shippuden Naruto and Tobirama is leagues superior. If Tobirama gets a Flying Raijin marking anywhere near Itachi he blitzes with Flying Raijin Slice. Itachi's regular Fire Style gets negged. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️

This is all speculation but the HUGE problem I see here is what version of each character are we talking about? Because the older Itachi gets the more skilled he becomes BUT his stamina also goes downhill because of the chakra disease. So a "good" version is needed for Itachi, such as the version of him in Part 1 of Naruto. Where he is sick but isn't as sick. Secondly, and I think many people are forgetting this, Tobirama has numerous years of experience, probably close to 20, fighting and killing Uchihas. Thus, his jitsu set are anti-Uchiha and anti-MS. Meaning that going into the battle, especially if you scale Itachi to alive Madara or right under like Izun, Tobirama will go into the battle much more confident than Itachi. I'm also not buying the "as fast as Naruto with a cloak" feat for Itachi because that's clearly the manga/anime trying to tell us/show us a good story. Naruto sucks when it comes to consistency and Naruto was definitely faster than Itachi at that power level, and if the writers bothered to give Naruto hai real speed during that fight than we wouldn't have a Itachi vs Naruto fight or not a good one because it would have been over too quickly. Hence, they slowed Naruto down so they can both chat and build drama. Going back to the Tobirama and Itachi fight, remember that Tobirama faced many Uchiha on the battlefield and still survived after so many years of battle. Meaning his base speed even without teleporting had to be fast or fast enough to survive for so long. Lastly, I think what needs to be established before further speculation is if we're talking about their alive forms or their Edo forms, and what points in time are we comparing, and lastly how much do they know about each other. Because let's say it's an alive Tobirama before his death and Itachi in part 1, then Itachi would have a slight advantage because Itachi knows who he is fighting and the expected jitsus and power set from the 2nd Hokage. It's like giving Itachi the playbook on his opponent. Whereas, Tobirama would be fighting an unknown Uchiha, as Itachi was born way after Tobirama had died. Thus, are you also going to take a moment to tell Tobirama all about Itachi and his abilities? Because that seems fair. Or are we assuming that neither knows nothing about one another? It doesn't consume that much energy given Itachi was able to use it for a long time even after a prolonged battle with Sasuke. He was still able to use it to block Kirin, and defeat orochimaru. Plus I think Itachi's battle IQ would mean he isn't wasting Susanoo unless he absolutely needs it. Tobirama doesn't have that many attacks that would force him to use it.

Very good analysis but most people tend to forget that alive and healthy Itachi had and could use Shuisui's Kotoamatsukami which was on one of his crows if he wanted to, it does not require eye contact but just the opponent to be in the crow field of view then it's game over. That ability is a one time shot but a game changer and is one of his arsenal even if a borrowed power he gets to choose the order he wants to implant into it such as kill yourself or whatever without the opponent realizing anything.

Tobirama is like the second or third fastest shinobi, so Tobirama would definitely have the pace on Itachi. So Itachi would have a hard time hitting Tobirama, and Tobirama knows how to fight an uchiha. He prevented himself from staring directly at Izuna's eyes, but Itachi has more hax then Izuna. With susanoo and yata Mirror with totsuka blade, this is the part where Tobirama may struggle. He could manage to land some hits on Itachi's susanoo. If Itachi lands a pierce with the totsuka blade (but the hits are pretty slow) then Itachi wins. But since both have infinite chakra in reanimation. He was noted by Madara to be the fastest ninja in his generation, which included himself, Hashirama, Muu and a slew of top tiered shinobi. Sharingan doesn’t like fast people, especially ones that can teleport anywhere. His techniques are meant to stop Uchiha and Itachi may have to go Susanoo just to seal a weak Edo Tensei. Add in stamina and Tobirama can simply outlast him let alone beat him.
