That Change of Eye Color within Metal Optics is perfect sign of him turning his allegiance from the Eggman Empire to become his own unique being as well as tell sign that he going to aid his fellow creations post adventure who knows maybe it can be project him and tails can work on during the events of Sonic Adventure 2 before Sonic is arrested and taken to prison island

@@Gunsandrosy yeah imagine him taking Sonic place utilzing the Master Emerald not a Master Emerald to Access his own Super Form which Dubbed Unlimited Overdrive Metal aka Super Metal to have a One on One with Ultimate Emerl and is able to Not Only drain the Energy but sparing Emerl from his Grizzly fate of being blown apart from the inside out,and gaining another robotic Ally against Eggman and Cementing himself a Friend and Ally to Sonic and Friends since they all bonded with Emerl and his death was very tragic

This feels like a mirror universe of Sonic Adventure where Metal Sonic had a story in Sonic Adventure rather than being a time attack only character.

Even though it is just Gamma's eye colour on Metal, it is a nice coincidence that it gives Metal the same colour eyes as Sonic now. Not that he would appreciate the comparison.

Huh I’m thinking that we might get a new heroes style team, Team Mecha. I think Tails could fairly easily construct or humanely allocate a new body for Gamma. That might be neat a group of powerful ex-eggman robots.

Wow this fan series is amazing and if Metal Turned good and hopefully Tails can make Gamma a new body form him just in case Metal and Gamma have separate bodies but wirh Metal being good how much the Story of Sonic heros work?
